Been going here for years since I was in high school with my family. The owners changed but the quality and delicacy of the fish is still the same. Some of the best sushi you will ever have.
Prob the best blue crab hand rolls in the OC and the most consistent and affordable omakase.We love dining in and ordering take out; they keep their hand rolls incredibly fresh with their innovative packaging! Some of my favorite salmon as well!
This is an old Japanese sushi restaurant for more than ten years.
I got an omakase course a day before shutdown restaurants in OC by COVID-19 which was very good. I couldn't forget the taste.
A great little gem hidden in a small plaza. Unfortunately during lunch time you can only order omakase $65 pp. While we were looking forward to trying other things on the menu, the omakase didn't disappoint. The quality of the fish was good. One thing to note, parking there during lunch hour can be TERRIBLE. We had to park across the street because there was no parking. Looking forward to going back and trying other things on their menu outside of the omakase.
This restaurant was the best sushi 8 years ago but after changing ownership has gone completely down the drain. It's quality and quantity has been chopped I. Half, don't waste your time. Instead, treat yourself to wafu sushi in costa mesa, it's soooooo worth the extra few miles. What a shame. I miss the old sushi wasabi, what a bummer such a great spot went so downhill.
Always Great! We love the: food (of course), the service, and the atmosphere. It is usually quiet and cozy, even before the pandemic when the sushi bar was open. When they could not allow dine-in, we got takeout and we were not disappointed, the presentation and packaging were very nice and everything high quality. This is our favorite sushi restaurant, I think it's the best.
Best best best sushi place !! It is small place so you need to call to make reservations. It is quality sushi. Haven’t found a better place in Orange County. !!
Good food
We had such a special time at Sushi Wasabi. The restaurant is super cute and cozy with Japanese decor inside. They served Omokase, or Chefs Special, which was beautifully displayed with excellent service by the staff / owners. The fish was some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. Highly recommend visiting!
