Food is ok, I've been here a few times customer service maybe needs to be a little more friendly.
The best fried zucchinis in town. And very good pastrami sandwich.
Food was very good. I ordered the gyro and the meat was very tender. We have eaten there many times for all three meals and all were very good and allot for the price. Pricing very reasonable. A great place and service was very good.
My favorite coffee shop in old town Orange County. Baristas are very friendly and will remember what you order if you come in often enough. There is usually plenty of seating and music is subtle and nice.
Had the pastrami sandwich and fries. Lots of food and service was excellent. Friendly staff and fast service.

I love this place but I’m really sad they said it’s turning into a Fantastic Cafe. Rest In Peace Johns Place ?The best menu items here are the fried zucchini and the patty melts. I’ve enjoyed these quite a lot over the years. Check out Johns Place up near Santiago Canyon College since that is owned by the same owner as this one was.

I suggest the pastrami omelette. Dust time I have seen Tabasco in packets, another Covid effect. Get vaccinated.
