Great store for quick grocery shopping. I've been coming for 3-4 years. Fair prices and their inventory is fresh. I always check expiration dates for packaged items and never had an issue. Some Indian stores have burned me in the past. Fast and friendly check out every time. I have to try the food one of these days. It smells delicious, but I'm always in a hurry.
This place used to have the best Indian Lunch Buffet I had ever had. Many tasty curries, Biryani rice, Pani Puri, Samosas, Mango Lassi, etc. My 6+ family used to come here once a month, for years! And then they switched owners and got rid of the buffet. Ordering the combo with Pani Puri and mango Lassi is now costly, and you don't have unlimited food.Such a bummer. We now go to the Indian place closer to our house because same price.We LOVED this buffet. They probably made 70-80 meals off us alone in a year. Imagine all the other customers who are looking for delicious Indian buffet now going elsewhere! Lunch Buffet is the main appeal for many.Bring back the buffet!!!
The only store in Tustin, and near Irvine which has authentic Indian food, especially south Indian food. They have a well maintained retail section in the store with all important Indian cooking stuffs.This is my go to store for authentic Indian food and shopping.
So sad they changed ownership, was really craving this place but realized they changed the name and menu. Won't be trying it based on reviews and no more combo deals offered on the menu. Sad to see another great business close.
Food in their restaurant was really bad. Felt like I was poisoned. Suffered with Diarrhea for next two days. Two weeks later we went to get wheat. It was past expiry date. Would never go here again.
I was craving good authentic Indian food. Went to this restaurant after seeing good reviews, but the food wasn't good.
My family has been ordering their food for almost 20 years now and it's the place I look forward to eating from when I come back to the area to visit. The staff is friendly, the tikka masala, navratan korma, palak paneer, and tandoori chicken are my all-time favorites. Everything here is delicious and consistently amazing.
Nice take out lunch. Good variety and portion.
This Place has been sold-off to new owner who has named it 'International India Bazaar'.Short-staffed and poor service.Always keep your Bill Receipt when paid with Card. They add extra charge to billed amount.
I have been coming here for 15 years and they have the best CTM in the world! I also love their dosa and Indian snacks and sweets!
