Big fan of full moon! This was my first time to this location though and was quite content with the quick and friendly service and delicious food. The veggie tempura retained its heat surprisingly long! Loved dipping it in the tempura and then eating it with plain udon noodles. It was a bit overboard but I also got an avocado cucumber salad that tasted fresh and so delicious. There was a balanced ratio of rice to toppings that offered a cool element to my lunch. Love that they have options for plant-based eaters like me!
Friendly staff you get greater at the door , good sushi they had no avocado so that was a bummer and their Sriracha is extremely watered down tastes like they put the cheap packets in the bottles.
this page says they're open until 12. it's 10:45, & they're closed. waste of 20 min.!
When it comes to a sushi restaurant, it's hard for a whole family to like it because half of us don't eat sushi. This restaurant actually offers some dishes that my husband and other daughter likes. I tried their sashimi bowl and our was just so so. I did their pan fired goods and Toro sushi.
Underwhelmed by this place. I'm a fan of the Fountain Valley and Costa Mesa locations but not this one. Walked in to a completely empty restaurant on a late lunch one Sunday. They were open but the staff seemed to have already checked out mentally. No one greeted us so we sat ourselves to one of the many open tables. Took a while for someone to bring the menus, took a while for someone to come get our order, and though it didn't take that long for the food to come out, everything was lackluster in appearance and taste. Portions of the rolls are way smaller than the other locations. Their volcano roll isn't the same as what I've had in the past. I got yellowtail sushi and it was not the best quality. Their katsu don bowl was dry and lacked in taste. Their udon tasted like the instant bowls sold in Costco. So disappointing.
I love this place!!! Great food & even better service — Always. This was one of the cute drawings they drew on my take out box back when COVID started & restaurants were not doing dine-in lol They are the cutest. ?
I've asked my dad how old was a when I first came here, he said since I was 1. I've loved the place every since ❤️...especially the Crunchy Roll?.
This place is super delicious! Their fish is always fresh that I always get sashimi before I leave. The chefs know how to make everything flavorful without being to over powering. Plan on spending at least $30-50 if you are just having sushi but this place also has bento box deals for those on a budget which ranges about 10-12.
I'm a regular customer. Food is always great and so is the customer service!
Best sushi place in Orange county. My grandson loves this place. Drove from Santa Ana to pick up for him.
