Tacos are amazing
I found this place in Google maps, and since there isn't any other taco spots around I thought I'd give them a try. The tacos are authentic and tasty. Kayla was the cashier who took my order and she was right these are the best tacos ever! She has great customer service & personality, Kayla made me feel so welcome that I would definitely be back.
Honestly just the service from the young female cashier made me want write a review. She was just super sweet, kind, looked you straight in the eyes and very willing to go out of her way to give you excellent service. I feel if people had an experience like that every time they went to eat Everyone would be less miserable all the time. Sometimes it's the little things that count. Made my day!
I definitely recommend trying the Wagyu and Al Pastor taco—the best!!! Everything is made fresh; homemade tortillas, beans, salsas! One of my favorite places to visit in Orange County!
Fonda Moderna is an excellent spot. I think that people are right in calling it relatively expensive but the taste is worth the price. We got a conchinita pibil burrito along with two fish tacos and the Mexican tiramisu. All of the dishes were fantastic. The conchinita pibil has these fantastic pickled beats and the meat is delicious. The fish tacos are great as well. The batter isn't to heavy, the sauce is very tasty. The Mexican tiramisu is absolutely incredible. You can taste the abuelita chocolate and it's perfect for two. The service is also A+.
In my opinion this is on par with some of michelin rated mexican restaurants I've been to. I appreciated the very labor intensive recipes used to give a very surprising and fun dinning experience in a food court setting. The best shrimp burrito I have ever had. Fish tacos and shrimp tacos are designed to bring out the seafood taste (you do have to ask for the freshly squeezed lemon juice). Not bready or greasy like other taco places. yes it is a bit pricey but worth the culinary delight. Best value is the guisado tacos sampler. Amazing experience. Thank you.
Flavorful, good al pastor and fish tacos. Also a good location with plentiful seating and some areas to walk around outside.
Don't waste your time or money on the Wagyu burrito it's a JOKE! Nothing but fat! You're better off ordering a shredded beef burrito from Miguel's Jr, and saving money.
This place no doubt has amazing tacos. I had the shrimp taco and the filet mignon with chorizo and I enjoyed every single bite. I wanted more. I cannot believe I've never been here before. I will 100% be back. I recommend this little hole in the wall. It's pretty new, the vibe is modern and spacious there is outdoor seating available also. My friend got the chicken taco, the fish one and the wagyu one. A little bit of everything.
