Owner tried selling me buy 1 get 1 free coupons.So I had to pay for coupons and the actual ice cream to get 1 free. Effectively I wasn't saving anything and moreover the coupon was valid only at their store. Never going there again!
I get a chocolate shake when I go here. When a chocolate shake is made fresh from chocolate ice cream it taste so much better, and that's how this place makes them. The cherry jubilee is really good but for me it's the chocolate shakes. The staff is also great and really friendly also.

I just left here and I'm so disappointed. I come here all the time for the Banana Royal and usually get really great customer service. My husband stopped by tonight and got me a 2 scoop sundae w/Winter White Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chocolate...it was supposed to be a Banana Royal but he forgot...no big deal. However, when I started to eat it, I noticed there was no Peanut Butter Chocolate ice cream in it. My husband said the gentleman was talking with someone and not very friendly but he didn't notice the second scoop of ice cream was missing. I decided to go back and took the sundae with me. I explained to the gentleman what happened and he told me he would remake it...which was good, but then he said that I just didn't see the scoop because it was all chocolate. When he remade it and added the scoop he had me look at it to make sure I saw he was adding it. People make mistakes and completely understand that...what was frustrating was how he made it seem like I was wrong...I'm sorry, but I KNOW there was only one scoop and I didn't need him to be condescending about it. I then asked if he could add the banana and I would pay the difference. I didn't want him to think I was trying to take advantage of the situation...even though I was the one that had been inconvenienced. I never got an apology for having to come back...there was no accountability on his part. Then he proceeded to charge me $2 for half a banana! Unfortunately I won't be visiting this place again...not because of the missing ice cream scoop, but because of how he reacted to it. Not sure if this is how he normally is or just an off day, but I've read other reviews with the same complaint. If he had just apologized I would have been okay with paying $2 for half a banana and the inconvenience of driving back. Very sad...I had always loved this place...but had never encountered this gentleman, who I think is the owner.
I was able to walk on and purchase an ice cream cake for a last minute birthday gift. The cake was great and everyone love it. I plan to go back and get another one just because.
