not happy with my order, bread was hard and ingredients were skimpy, my daughter bought me a sandwich in the past that was very good so I decided to drop in and get one. won’t be back
I ordered the Caprese sandwich and asked to add chicken...it was amazing. fresh bread, food quality is great, great customer. I highly recommend eating there.
I posted a five-star review, and I usually post a picture. But the first initial bite I just kept eating and eating and never got a chance to post a picture. This saves me a trip to Oakdale to Backwoods as they have great sandwiches and soups here at sourdough company great place great food
Great place food is really good especially the bread. They do have really good salads besides the sandwiches they make.
My husband and I stopped by on a whim with our kids just in time for Sourdough & Co. to open @ 11am. We had never been there before, and we were STARVING.We were conveniently able to check out their menu online to make it a quick order experience. We ordered 2 bowls of their clamchowder (one in a famous sourdough bread bowl), and mac and cheese for the kids to go.The wait wasn't very long at all, and it gave me a good opportunity to look around and take pictures. They have indoor dining available, friendly and professional staff, a good clean establishment with a polished rustic atmosphere!The sourdough bread was SO GOOD! I'm used to stuff like from Boudin's in SF which has a tougher crust and often scrapes the roof of my mouth. Sourdough & Co.'s bread had the crunch to the crust, without cutting up my mouth and the inside was so fluffy and warm even after getting home! I've never been a huge fan of sourdough bread, but I've been craving theirs ever since! Their clam chowder was excellent and was somehow hearty without being too heavy, and the mac and cheese was thoroughly enjoyed by my picky eater!We can't wait to go back!Sorry no pictures of the food this time... it was devoured as soon as we got home!
I've only visited a couple times, but the staff is friendly and the food is really good. The clam chowder bowl and french dip sandwich are my favorite ? I usually don't buy sweets, but their lemon cookies are amazing! Also, they offer a student discount (bring your student ID)~
In response to Julianna Estrada's negative review.This customer was rude to Alexis who handled everything responsibly and corrected the mistake appropriately, but Julianna kept getting more agitated when Alexis would respond politely and not feed into her attitude. This place gets busy and as someone who also works in customer service, oftentimes people have little patience, especially during rush hours.
This place has no customer service and charged me a extra sandwich when I told her she gave me attitude about it, and then I asked for the manager and she said that she is the manager named Alexis. I asked for the main owner and she stated that he doesn’t go in but actually I see him all the time. Not sure what’s going on but it’s ridiculous that it took 30 minutes for three sandwiches and did two of them done wrong.
If you go to Subway or one of the other chains, you may feel the prices at Sourdough &Co seem a bit high for the sizes offered. Sometimes it's not about size but quality. You can't compare a restaurant like Red Robin to McDonald's. That said the quality here was very high. The meats and cheeses were not low quality but were top notch. The Sourdough bread used was outstanding with a crisp top and a soft center. If you like soup, The clam chowder is probably one of the best I've tasted away from the coast. I rarely give five stars unless I'm truly impressed and feel they accomplished something unique. They earned it with quality and friendly staff. Great Job at this location!
Awesome sandwich !! The young ladies that work there are such sweethearts caring and very nice we will be back my husband is from back east and clam chowder is one thing he has been trying to get the kind that is real clam chowder he loves this soup ? Thank you
