This Popeyes location never fails to disappoint. I’ve been there a handful of times and every single time the order is wrong, reheated, and soggy. I ordered two drinks and they only got one right. The Mac n’ cheese was very dry and cold - I honestly could’ve made better Kraft Mac and cheese from the box at home. The fries were stale and soggy. The chicken sandwich was very dry, hard, and reheated - I couldn’t even eat my sandwich because it was impossible to chew. This experience was disappointing like every other time. Avoid this place at all costs and don’t waste your money here.
I'm going to a restaurant in Turlock. I love it sandwiches and also the attitude of her staff. Most of all, there is a woman working there named Sheila. She is very loving and polite. She really should be praised for her good behavior.
Visited Popeyes on Golden State for the first time; evening crew super friendly, loved the nuggets, best biscuits ever!
This is unfortunately the only Popeyes In town, and its horrible, at first the times I visited I never had any issue but lately almost every visit they mess up my order. I've ordered sweet tea and it was all watery, they forgot a whole sandwich once, another time they forgot my large side. Well today I ordered through door dash and they forgot my large drink, and pie. It's always a fail here.
First time eating there. Ordered online. Instructed to go to drive-thru. Waited for 6 cars. Could've gone in. Wasn't told that.Missing: Coleslaw, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet tea, buttermilk dressing; all on my receipt.But the worst was the shrimp were NOT DEVEINED! The "vein" is actually the poop line for the shrimp. I ate many before seeing the poop line. Definitely cannot go back there!!!
Drove 40 miles round trip to be dissapointed chicken and the biscuts werent fresh hard and dry..cant even rate it..sorry guys but you failed.
Unfortunately the professionalism at this place is so lacking I won't be going back anymore. Went there today HOPING my food would be fine. Nonetheless I asked for mild chicken but was given one mild and other spicy. Don't they understand people order specific items because they may have allergies. Tried calling but just got busy signal over and over. I've been there several times with other family members but more often than not the service and food not worth it. Too bad because a lot of people were looking for ward to their arrival. . Just going to make the drive to Ceres or Atwater from now on. Spend your money where it will be worth it. Hopefully one day someone at the top will care enough to step up and correct the problems there.
Out of the handful of times we've gone to this location, we've only managed actually receive food maybe 50% of those times. For example, Friday night we sat in the drive thru for about 20 minutes (the dining room was closed and has been off and on since this location opened). Finally got up to the speaker and started to order only to be told the kitchen had already been shut down and they were out of tenders (none of which was mentioned when initially greeted). It was 9pm. They close at 10:30pm.That's just 1 example of problems that, in my experience, have plagued this location since it opened. Wait times are all over the place, availability of menu items is inconsistent at best, and the service is sub-par. I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt since it's a fairly new location, but at this point there's really no excuse and is the reason for the 1-star rating.
If I could rate this lower, I would! We have had issues before with this location but usually they are just out of everything. Let me start by saying we ordered this through doordash and this was of ZERO FAULT of doordash or the driver. We ordered two 5-piece spicy strips and one chicken sandwich meal. When the food arrived, we were missing the chicken sandwich meal completely and both chicken strips were overcooked to the point if you bent a piece of chicken, instead of tearing apart nice and juicy, it snapped in half like a cookie! I have had good Popeyes (Livingston, Modesto locations). It was so hard to chew we gave up. Not only that but when I opened the buttermilk ranch it smelled off. I then tasted a dab of it, and I almost puked from the sour taste, and I love their buttermilk ranch. It was clear this ranch had been sitting out not refrigerated at all or had simply gone bad but was still served. I was really trying to let this go but considering I spent $65 total for this meal, I requested a refund from doordash and they did refund my money. However, there is some SERIOUS QUALITY CONTROL ISSUES at this location that needs to be addressed by upper management. YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO GET SOMEONE SICK OR WORSE!
Just went through the drive thru at lunch. Ordered Popcorn Shrimp combo. Didn't get the biscuit, didn't get napkins, the Iced Tea is water with a slight yellow color. Asked for Cocktail sauce and Tartar sauce. Received Ranch. Really poor.
