We as a family we're too busy with school and lives to go out. So it was a nice treat to eat at Las Casuelas. The staff were all sweet and helpful. We ordered bacon wrapped shrimp, Camarones a diablo, and Chile Verde plates. All were delicious and filling! Would recommend to my friends
Always have a good time there. Great food, drinks and service.
Tried this with a group of nine people. It started out alright. Our first server took our drinks orders and told us that we could have separate tickets. When the second server came to take our order she came off a bit annoyed by the request and quickly said that they could not do that. They messed up some of the drinks, there was very little service, and the food was "eh".I know many places add gratuity for large groups but the way this went down seemed sketchy. There was no notice of this policy anywhere and the waitress entered the 20% by hand on the computer generated bill. I typically tip generously, even above the 20% that is usually charged for larger groups, but I felt like this was deceptive.I doubt I will go back if there are any other options.
About a month ago, I went here with a couple of my friends for dinner. The hostess said the wait would be 45 minutes which we were fine with until we ended up waiting an hour and a half. Eventually, when we got our table, the food wasn't even good. Very few menu selections that were not very descriptive. Won't ever eat here again or recommend to anyone.
While I love the shrimp dishes the most and they are all great!I decided to try the green enchiladas. I was really disappointed. The sauce taste exactly as the Las Palmas brand right out of the can. Nothing homemade or special about it as it says on their menu. Again I will stick to my normal shrimp dishes and stay away from their Verde dishes. I hope they improve this
Service was good, but food was just okay. Don't expect what's on the menu to exactly be what you get... Seems that the kitchen staff has some flexibility to add/subtract items at will.
I had the wet shredded chicken burrito and Dad had the garlic bowl. Both were off the lunch menu and enough for two meals. Had the large size beers with lunch, too stuffed to finish. Next time will order regular size.
The servers are always friendly and seem to enjoy their job. They pay close attention to detail and I always get my meal exactly how I order it.
Go somewhere else for quality Mexican food. They microwave there food! This place serves garbage. Mediocre at best, my guest and I both had rice and beans served cold. I understand sometimes the Mexican rice isn’t served hot but the beans were stone cold. My plate looked like they threw the food on the plate and when I told our waiter who did not check on us often instead he ran by asking is everything good? Without waiting for an answer, he returned to our table with a giant plate of disgusting looking beans that looked like they microwaved it. The food was disgusting and the waiter did not offer a discount or refund. Never coming here again!
