Friendly service, food is authentic and delicious.Hot and ready and didn't take long on a busy lunch hour. Lunch specials are pretty reasonable and filling. Be sure to come with an appetite because lunch specials are huge!Love the bean dip and fresh warm and crunchy chips.Always refreshing to come here and try something new.PEPSI products is a bonus and glad they serve Pepsi! It makes everything that much tasteful!I suggest try the wet burrito with green sauce, with either grilled or shredded chicken! Delicious! But this experience was with the single item lunch special and got the burrito with steak and green sauce inside. Perfect amount of food and rice was fresh and tasty along with the beans.
Used to be better. Quality of food and salsa have gone down in the last 2 years. They ran out of rice....how does a Mexican restaurant run out of rice? Didn't even say anything; just brought extra beans. Pick one of the many better Mexican restaurants in Turlock instead.

We went to order to-go and they were really helpful and really nice. However, we go to order and I'm told they do not do carnitas tacos but the WILL sell carnitas alla cart and the tortillas but wont put them together or provide the cilantro and onion. Then, we order natchos and order beef but when we finally get home we see that they put chicken. The only good thing is their flour tortilla chips. If I go back, it will only be for the chips.
A lot of good Mexican restaurants but this one will make you come back. Nothing is bad and everything tastes wonderful.
My guy had an appointment in Turlock and we decided to try La Morenita, honestly the food was really good but a bit salty and the drinks were very expensive...maybe I don't get out much...lol BUT $4 for a soda and $11 for a tall Coors Light kinda ruined it for me IDK??
Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in town! We've been eating here for years and they never disappoint. The food is delicious and the service is always wonderful! Even when they're busy they are still quick to get your order and you rarely have to wait long to get your food. The staff is very friendly and always happy to get anything you ask for. Can't be beat for a great dinner and a margarita.
Food was very good, service was polite and efficient yet it is an old establishment.Building needs fixed up.
I've had better dinning experiences with La Morenita,I ordered a side of refried beans & rice w/flour tortillas & for the price we paid it was a very small portion of ea. of the rice & beans the tortillas were plenty enough in fact I had 2 left over.. it's the 1st time I had placed a telephone order to go with them. I have never had a bad experience when dinning in with them, always delicious hot and plentiful portions, excellent service,But my 2go experience wasn't great to say the least...
