Server Kaci was the rudest server I’ve probably ever had. All of the workers there are straight out mean not welcoming whatsoever. They also put a $10 tip on my tab without even asking me if I wanted to add a tip. Then argued and yelled at us saying that every restaurant forces tip?? I’m sorry but don’t waste your time here ! What if the service wasn’t good at all and your server was rude to you and you didn’t want to tip? Tips are DESERVED!!!!! They definitely didn’t deserve tips whatsoever.
Very disappointing. The edamame was super overcooked and disintegrated on your mouth, good flavor for the spicy ones but very hard to eat. We got the Rainbow roll and the Firecracker roll and both were very lack luster. The rolls were sliced soo thin they were hard to pick up and proceeded to fall apart once picked up. If i was paying $5 a roll i could understand it but these were $12 to $14 each.They had 2 waitresses one was nice the other seemed very bothered by us being there. My wife asked for some spicy mayo and the waitress basically threw and empty container on the table. We were able to get what we asked for from the nice waitress.
The food is good. The staffs are pleasant and accommodating.I feel like it is a bit pricey compared to other japanese restaurants in the area.I like that they have gave a Turlock Roll that represents the City.They may work on the ambience of the resto to make it more pleasing to eat as the styro packs are all displayed and it does not look nice for me
I am not a sushi lover, however they offer bento boxes or rice bowls for those who don’t appreciate sushi. I did try the California Roll and I gotta tell you that it was pretty darn good. Perfect amount of crisp, spice, and avocado. The ingredients tasted fresh and hot. I will definitely return to try something else new. I recommend calling in your order if you will be doing take out. This place is popular and can get busy around lunch and dinner.
Disappointed they didn't keep the same menu, as promised, from Samuri Sushi. Miss old owners so much, they made you feel like family. Fuji isn't as friendly, sush and menu are just ok.
Ordered the caterpillar roll for pickup on 12/28/2021. Total was $13.79. It was good but they didn't give me a small container to pour the soy sauce in. Not sure if they don't give it to any of their customers or they just forgot. Either way I think that's one of the essential items for a pickup order. Other than that I love how we are given the option to order online and pay in person.
Love coming here every-now-and-then. I’ve had sushi at several Bay Area and Central Valley locations and this place is kinda the same with the food taste and menu options. However, it differs with the welcoming staff and attentive customer service. Their Dragon, King and Fuji rolls are delicious. Also their miso soup is super tasty.
This is good quick place to come and eat Sushi. The quality is very good and tastes good too.
I had friends from Merced & Los Banos meet me here since our regular place was closed... Its alright. Clean. Good. Just not like the other place. ❤❤
I checked this place out due to my normal spot being closed today. The food was alright. To be honest I got two sushi rolls and ramen soup. The rolls were messily made. The soup was okay. The service was not the best. There were two other couples in the restaurant. I had been there waiting for 10 min just to get my water. Then another few min to order. I was there for over an hour including eating time. My soup was out fairly quick. The rolls were done but sat on the counter for almost 20 min until the waitress decided to bring them over. It took almost ten min to get my check. I may have gone on a bad day. I’m sure this place is usually good. But I unfortunately had a bad experience which is why I gave it one star. Hope your experience is better than mine. I personally am going to stick to my regular place.
