This restaurant used to be better before I order food to take out a combo plate Beef and brocolli with a chicken chow mein there was harly any meat on the beef and brocolli and so in the chicken chow mein to bad you can loose business if you guys continue doing this need to put more meat we are paying for more of one pound of meat too bad!!!
They no longer offer dine in totally kills the experience for me. Nor do they offer delivery. And both times on my last two purchases there I have been shorted the amount of shrimp in the wor won ton soup. And the house chow mein. And they no longer make the hot mustard only offer the small packets which really isn't hot mustard. Obviously customers aren't their priority anymore.
Normally very good, I love their orange chicken and egg rolls, but tonight the chicken chow main tasted off, like bad, I had to throw it all out.
Summary:The leftovers were all eventually thrown away, except the Mongolian beef.Service: nothing noteworthy either way here. No particular praise or complaints. The order was ready in the estimated time.FoodI'll apply the "Panda Test" here. Basically, asking "would I have rather had the Panda Express version?"Kung Pao: Mediocre.A little bland (for kung pao), and the chicken seemed dry... Somehow. I might finish my leftovers. They seem like more of a chore than a delight. I'd certainly prefer Panda's kung pao.Mongolian Beef: Pretty good!I ate this up and went right back for more with leftovers the next day. I would probably prefer this to Panda most of the time.Vegetable chow mein: Mostly good? This was pretty good, but seemed to have some kind of "under flavor" that I didn't care for. Maybe some kind of spice? If that flavor wasn't there I would easily prefer it to Panda. But as it stands, I would prefer Panda's chow mein.Fortune Cookies: very stale.I normally wouldn't mention the fortune cookies, but these were very disappointing. At least I liked the fortune I guess. "You deserve special treatment this month. Enjoy dessert."This first experience seems to tell me that the dishes vary drastically in quality.I think I'll be back for the Mongolian Beef, and to experiment with other dishes, but probably not anything else from my order.
Sister took me here and I liked it ever since! Must try! Authentic and fresh food made to order! Quit eating at panda or other fast food places and these prices are actually reasonable! For the price for 1 plate, it feeds 2!!
The potstickers on their own would have been five stars but the chicken salad was very disappointing. Big chunks of iceberg, warm sauce and fried chicken(on its own was good). Have ordered chicken salad at many Chinese restaurants and never seen anything like this. Not good.
Excellent food. Highly recommended this place.
Taxes were like 5 dollars per plate but good . not really.
If you like Chinese food Friendly House is place to go.
I shared a five star a few months ago, but last few times have disappointed. Last purchase of BBQ pork chow mein had one piece of pork in it. House noodles soup had very little meat to add to soup and noodles. We won't be spending our need here anymore.
