Went to Turlock Cold Stone last night. I used to love coming here but over the years, service has declined. There were 6 kids on the night crew last night but only 2 were actually working. The rest were horse-playing around while there was a line of customers going out the door. The kids that were messing around were getting really close to each other’s faces and wiggling their tongues at each other… gross. One of the boys kept rubbing and touching his nose and never washed his hands. There was something said to one of the boys but I doubt he did anything.

Despite 15 signs for the new mask mandate, 4 mask less people in front of us were being served. One of the mask less customers told the two younger, that he tested positive a few days ago - after which a startled back and forth conversation of if he was serious and a frank demand if he had a positive or negative test resulted in an inaudible response, but the younger girls incredulous "I thought you tested negative!" Was enough drama for me, regardless if it was a political statement, or a sick joke - we left and I registered an online complaint. The owner called me personally and apologized, explaining that they do hold the position of enforcement here. It was good to realize the sincere concern the owner has not only for his staff and customers, but for our community as a whole. This pandemic has put many of us in unexpected positions, where the right answer isn't simple - all we can do is our best.
I was happy to see signs up indicating that everyone must be wearing a mask, no exceptions. Then I noticed that the highschool-age group in front of us was not wearing masks. I thought they'd be asked to wear a mask or leave, but they were served anyway. While they were being served, one of them starts bragging that he has covid, scaring one of his friends. My girlfriend and I walked out at that point. Please enforce your mask policy.
We stopped in yesterday after dinner for some ice creme. Payton was our ice creme maker and was super friendly and had great costumer service. We got 2 ice cremes and both were delicious. Will be coming back again.
Damien was super friendly, very helpful and made the Cold Stone experience bar none. My 5 year old was thrilled at the way Damien went out of his way to amaze her. We will definitely return to this icecream shop!

I was impressed with them. They were nice enough to replace the honey with butterscotch which i thought ended up being a better suggestion. I wish it would let me load the picture but Whoever made my order was nice enough to even leave a note in my delivery bag ☺ great service tonight as usual.
