Good and fast. Super friendly staff. The guy was helpful helping me with the menu items. The lady prepped my food with care ? good place for BBQ!
The owner is really nice!! The food was SO GOOD!! My fiance got the BBQ tri tip sandwich & chili beans. Bread was super soft. I got the chicken sandwich and fried pickles which was amazing!! I can't wait to try more things on the menu!!
Absolutely amazing food! I’m going to have to find more excuses to be in Turlock! Huge menu! I had so much trouble deciding. The pastrami melt is great! Staff are super friendly and prices are reasonable!
Good food but everything else is terrible. They updated their hours but didn't change it on the website which is very frusturating. Customers are not a priority anymore. Sad to see how downhill things have gotten as Carnivores used to be amazing.
Poor customer service. The daughters of the owner have attitude problems. Ordered ahead of time and paid to have order ready at a specific time. They said the ran out of mac n cheese. They " got too busy" to boil noodles. So my son didn't have anything to eat. They tried to double charge us when my wife went to pick up the order. We did not receive any BBQ sauce from this "BBQ place". Owner is a coward that still has not returned my calls to discuss how his daughters are running his business into the ground. If you like dry over priced food served with a heaping amount of bit**, then you should eat here.
Over half the menu items we’re out of stock… and we were let known after ordering/paying for some of them. Food was alright, cheese sauce was bland. Definitely have had better cheesesteaks elsewhere.
There fries ? were awesome. Had the tri tip & trip tip western. Both were good. No complaints at all for this place.
So good… extremely tasty. Delicious, simple.We needed a food stop returning to the Bay Area from Merced and found this gem on Gmaps. You could stop at Chipotle or any of those other places (that are mobbed) just off the freeway, but why the hell would you? Small strip mall affair but all of the goodness you’d expect from a non-chain.Sat at the tables outside.
My husband and I were driving back from Merced and opted to stop in Turlock to eat. I highly recommend driving past the massively busy shopping center right off the freeway and drive up to this little sandwich shop. It was a nice drive past Cal State Stanislaus and we saved a lot of time not waiting in line with everyone else immediately off the freeway. The people here were so nice and the food was delicious!
Don't like hidden fees, then don't eat here. ordered 4 sandwiches, 2 onion rings, one fries and three sodas. all for $71.00 . I thought it was high but didn't realize until latter in the day when I checked their prices. They don't give you a brakedown of your order, just a receipt for the total cost. turned out they have the taxes at around 12% when turlock taxes are at 8.625%. I went and checked with them and was told it was an added fee for not charging for soda refills or their sauces.I liked the food but will not come back due to the feeling of being taken advantage of.
