Went here with some buddies and we all shared the same thoughts. We were let down by the food. I got the tri-tip sandwich. While it was tender and easy to chew it lacked the juices that traditional tri tips should have. The beans also weren't the best. The Mac and cheese.. wasn't very cheesy. I tasted more of a pasta flavor than the cheese. The overall customer service was great, very helpful and attending.
Everything they serve is top quality from the Smoked Meats to the Side Dishes. Vic has concentrated on quality and quantity which is extremely rare these days. His staff is friendly, helpful and top notch over all. They care about how they represent their Brand.Vic is a humble guy who loves what he does and he doesn't skimp on quality, you'll get a high quality grade of meat and the sides are equally as good as the main menu items they serve, which is also rare these days.I almost forgot, what's BBQ without an excellent sauce? Well it's unfinished business in my opinion. Vic's BBQ sauce compliments his BBQ very well, it's a fantastic match up.You get what you pay for and then some.I've tried many on the Smoked Meat BBQ places sourounding Stanislaus County and beyond. First time here. I had the brisket sandwich, brisket beans and banana pudding for dessert. The service was fast and friendly. The food was wonderful. The brisket was so tender and easy to eat, with lots of flavor. The beans...I could just get a large side of them and be happy. Nice pieces of brisket in them. The desert was good too. I usually get pictures but the food looked so good I was halfway done before I remembered. Definitely worth checking out. They mostly have outdoor seating but it's well shaded and they also have misters. I can't wait to go back and try the pulled pork.
Ok, I've been here 2 times. both instances it was off the hook. Best brisket I've ever had. I will be back. Sandwiches are pricey, but worth every penny.
Tri Tip was great - Jalapeño Sausage ? almost ruined my lunch… not a fan of the sausage- perhaps some hot links might work better.Overall would recommend Vic’s BBQ

The BBQ is the bomb! The owner is passionate about the food he makes. It is such a treasure in Turlock. The homemade desserts are amazing!
Excellent BBQ I had the Tri Tip and the Aztec chicken plus the Sausage , the potato salad is a Must unique only to this establishment . The service was friendly and inviting , I also enjoyed the outdoor patio there where plenty of tables and shade it really is a nice setting . We will definitely be going back in the near future , We parked on a side street but there is parking in the back
Flavor on point. Smokeyness sticks with you. The sauce OMG the sauce is perfect with the perfect amount of sweetness and tangyness. Meat falls off the bone and the flavor built in every piece of meat. So finger licking good.
Meat was flavorless and dry. We ordered the brisket and tri tip and neither were good. The food needs better seasonings and to not be overcooked. To top it off they forgot one of our sides and gave us one wrong side. No wonder there was no one there when we picked up our order. We don't be returning.
