When it comes to breakfast I'm a huge fan of French Toast or Belgian Waffles ? and I've never seen Crunchy French Toast til now!! If you have never tried it before it's a must.
Service was meh. Food was meh. I ordered the Tri Tip Sandwich. Fries were really bland. That was the most meh tri tip I've ever had. This was one of those small town places that I never thought I'd end up at. I'm not from this area. I'm from the west SFV and I was passing through with a friend heading up north. Soon as we walked through the door we sat at the bar because there was no tables. Walking to take a seat there I could feel the stares. We were speaking Spanish the whole time there and I'm actually surprised nobody told us to leave. They certainly looked like they were wanting to tell us to leave lol. I'm guessing by other reviews that this might be the most exciting dining experience this area has to offer. I'm certainly not wanting to put this place down. But I just didn't find it good at all. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't good.

My go-to neighborhood grill (that’s not actually in my neighborhood ?) for many years now. Been open nearly a century. Just good homestyle food at affordable prices. Clean. Friendly. Consistent. Everything you want a little coffee shop to be. Definitely worth going a little out of the way for, and taking an extra minute; as that’s what they also do when they prepare your food, and it shows. This is what Denny’s had tried unsuccessfully to capture; the quintessential small town coffee joint. Thank goodness we still have one. Do yourself a favor. Go try it if you haven’t (and order the biscuits & gravy or crunchy French Toast).
My wife loves Porto's , if you visit Glendale's Porto's make sure that you feed the parking meeter or you'll get a ticket.I live about 200 miles and visit most of the buisnes around that area but when I parked there at Porto's the locals told me that being on Sunday I wasn't required to feed the meeter... My mistake, I got a parking ticket... Therefore my relatives and most of my friends wi'll never support any buisnes in Glendale anymore ...
