The salsa for the chips was wack, tasted like pizza soup or something. But the Al Pastor was really good, the rice was okay.
First time eating here it was free food our boss paid for it 20 employees . Nice restaurant , friendly service . Food is ok but proportions are small for the price , and not what I expected , I asked for camarones al mojo de ajo. But they were on a garlic sauce . And other of my work partner asked for camarones a la diabla and also they were on a sauce he is caucausian even he said that they were not a la diabla , and then other ask for fajitas de pollo and he only got 1 piece of chicken and a lot of lettuce ,onion, tomato and bell peppers but just 1 piece of chicken , he was mad but didn't said nothing . I didn't ask the other guys . Good thing it was paid for our boss.
So I called Las Playas today to order the parillada for one person. The menu states it comes with crab legs, last time I ordered they didn’t have it and didn’t notify me but charged me for it. This time I called to verify that they actually have everything listed on the menu which they stated that they no longer add the crab legs. Since they don’t add crab legs I requested to add more shrimp which they stated they would add extra shrimp and octopus. Great I was happy with that, up until I got my plate.
The best place to eat seafood, las playas in tulare, the one in visalia not the same.
Had dinner with my wife the guacamole had the stem in it service wasn't to good

Great food,great service,great staff, lots of room to park tractor an trailer I had fried snapper w/ rice beans 7 seafood soup so good and shrimp enchiladas juices are really good too definitely will try again when I’m in CA
Sunday, September 12, 2021: Rancid or overused dirty oil to cook their chips. Two of us ordered; one the nachos with chicken and the other a taco salad. The taco shell was OK, but the chips served with salsa and as part of the nachos tasted as stated; tried to eat them and tried again and again, but just too bad so we meticulously stripped them out of the plate of nachos and ate the nacho ingredients with a shared portion of the taco salad shell. They need to correct this problem promptly or more than promptly, for it is one thing if it is an issue of overuse of cooking oil, but another if rancid oil(much more serious).
Really great food, and good service. The steak picado was delicious!
Shrimp cocktail, didn't have all the ingredients,,but it was delicious ,I'll go again ?❤??
