I thoroughly enjoyed the pancake breakfast I ordered. The 2 pancakes were humongous & I wasn't able to finish eating them! Bacon & 2 eggs topped off the meal. There is such a variety on the menu that it was hard for me to choose. I would definitely eat here again! Easy on & off to/from Hwy 99, to a great place to have a tasty meal on your road trip.
This was my first time experience at a Black Bear establishment & I must say it was a great one. It wasn’t too busy so I got my food in a timely manner and had a great waitress that assisted me with my menu. Everything was huge portions & delicious
Absolutely AMAZING customer service and delicious food. We visited from out of state here from a recommendation and we definitely would recommend it again! The mashed potatoes and gravy are delicious with a sweet flavor, and I loved the Huckleberry lemonade. Our kids were well taken care of, and the hospitality was wonderful. SO glad we stopped here and wish we had more room in our stomachs to eat more!
The employees were terrific. We showed up with an impromptu birthday party for a nine year old. They made the occasion so much fun. The food was very good with generous portions. Thank you Black Bear Diner, looking forward to the next time!!
Great place to have a good American breakfast.Met client there for a set of loan docs for a home loan and it was very roomy and pleasant.Did not take pictures...sorry.It's right off the freeway so it was a quick entrance and exit .
Clarence , Ashley , and Dora was so amazing it was my dads bday and he and is enjoyed it the experience was awesome and the food was good
4 star for current pandemic condition. 3 star equivalent of precovid. You have to lower expectations now for the food service industry. LolThe goodPlenty of parking. 20 minute wait. Food came out in reasonable time because we ordered our food upon first visit by waitress. Food was good quality. Papa bear hot sauce still tastes great but they charge $12 per bottle!The badOrdered bobs big bear burger which comes with grilled onions. Didn't come with grilled onions. Also everyone gets one napkin. Come on we know you play the sanitize theatre by not having a napkin dispenser.A lithe disappointing from visiting years ago.

Folks - Im here in Tulare Ca. At the Black Bear Diner (BBD). Just off the 99 freeway. Size does matter. The portions at BBD are "gargantuan" three people can split the meals offered. The atmoshpere here is very cozy, country like. The wait staff is both courteous and efficient.Did I mention the pancakes are the size of "record albums." The bacon had a texure and taste that screamed "you should of ordered more." Well if you happen to be traveling along the 99 and you are starving......BBD
