Delicious food for a reasonable price. Love the classic diner feel. The restaurant is pretty spacious, so chances are they’ll have a table for you no matter what time it is!
This place was very good with Diner like setting food is good.
Very eclectic mix from 50s and 60's style of decor. Great food and prepared well. The burger was great and well prepared. I saw some other dishes that looked great too. The dumpling was ok. I didn't like that they are prebaked, then baked again. It takes away the taste and freshness. Dumplings are my favorite. I will go for the pie instead.
We went for breakfast. Service was excellent. Price was average and the did was pretty good. A lot of options to chose from. I'd go back. I had the Hobo omelet and had them smother it with gravey, it also includes hash browns and toast or a muffin. My wife had the special which had 2 pancakes, 2 sausage, 2 eggs. Or meal was around $30. I also had a soda.
My wife and I stopped in for comfort food after a visit to Sequoia National Park on a cold day, and we weren't disappointed! Great family style comfort food, large portions, attentive waitstaff, and a clean comfortable dining area. I recommend the meat loaf, which is the second most popular item for locals after chicken fried steak. I should have ordered the senior portion, as the regular portion of meat loaf was daunting, but I finished it. It has homespun decor that caters to kids and older folks.
Absolutely amazing place! We wanted to try typical American dinner on our holiday and this was the right place to go!Fast service, amazing food. They even made me vegan burrito. If you staying or just going through definitely stop by and try apple pie!
I went with my family and we got burgers and pancakes and the apple dumpling pie. The burgers are hand formed and 100% chuck, very good. Pancakes were nothing special. The apple pie dumpling was a treat to try. It's a whole apple, peeled with raisins and chopped walnuts and wrapped in pie dough. It's like a personal apple pie, I highly recommend it.
Staff is friendly and kept our coffee cups filled. Chile Verde is not spicy and is now a family favorite. This establishment has been around for many years, great memories seeing little Apple Annie on the building. Must try dessert if you're not too full after your meal. I like sitting by the large windows. Booths are a little small for taller folks with long legs. Mexican food section, lunch and dinner options and a senior menu is also available.
We stopped on our way to So Cal. Service was excellent. We chose to stop 2 other times so far. Partly because we weren't hungry until we got close and partly because we had good experience previously. Food is good breakfast, husband had BLT he enjoyed his meal also.
We stopped in for a quick bite after a long day driving. The Reuben Sandwich was OVER heated in the microwave. The bus boy was delightful. Our server ignored us. We will be back again, but will not have a Reuben again.
