Sushi rolls were delicious. Lot of interesting variety. Place was busy especially with take out. Good for smaller parties. 2 to 4 people. Larger groups would slow down their production.
I don't care what anyone else says THIS is the best sushi in town. I've literally tried every sushi place and this tops my list for service, freshness and atmosphere. If i could give it more stars I would.
Clean and everyone was friendly.Food was just okay.Ordered a couple of things to try out since this was our first time there.Gyozas were oily and slimy. Ton katsu was a bit dry but the batter was good, came with miso (which was really good), some salad (chunks of iceberg drizzled in a tasty sauce but then a small clump of carrots) and tasty rice. Also ordered 3 rolls, the Houston, Caterpillar, and Millennium. The rice was really sweet, never had that before, wonder if it's just the way they make it here. The caterpillar roll only had 1 slice of avocado on it? Kinda underwhelming but prices are fairly cheap so I guess you pay for what you get.
It seemed very popular, clean and were very hospitable. It tasted different than the sushi I normally get so I'm a bit prejudiced but it's definitely a place to try. I did enjoy the super crunchy spider roll. I thought I had taken more fotos but I guess I was stuffing my face and forgot.
We love this place, is small but they are amazing, food is awesome and the service is great ...
We've been coming here for about a year now , tried pretty much every sushi spot in town mostly because this spot doesn't open on Tuesday's and always ended up feeling likewe shoulda just waited to the next day. The food here is always consistently fresh, pretty and delicious. Service is fast and friendly and prices are reasonable. Last but not least location is convenient with plenty of parking. Hands down the BEST Sushi restaurant in town.

Stopped in for dinner on the way home from Yosemite, impressed by the freshness of the fish. Had a few rolls, was disappointed not to see futomaki on their menu but the Black Dragon roll was very tasty. About half the tables were occupied, so service was very slow. Waitress was pleasant but never looked around as she brought food out for other diners during the meal. No refill on water, and then had to ask for my check and later after she was serving tables but didn't pick up the folio I walked it over to the register.Overall a good experience and good sushi, hope they continue to do well.
