I used to come to this place all the time you still have excellent food excellent service went there tonight the food was below average chicken tasted like it left overs from a few days ago and still cold , I also ordered a super nachos chicken to go was the worst thing ever had to throw right in garbage . After tonight’s experience I will not go back , no wander there was no customers while we were there. A 2star Rating was being Generous
We have been loyal customers at el patio since they started many years ago in Fremont and the others that the family ran. We have always enjoyed the food and service. Until now. We have been there a couple of times since this new owner took over. Service was good. But the food was bad. The beans were thick like peanut butter. The green sauce was very thick and really dark green. I'm not sure what was so dam salty but I think it was everything. Food came way too fast. So that tells me it was microwaved. Sorry to say. We won't be going back. I'd rather stop at taco bell.
The food was good but not great ,the portions were good size and they had good prices. Great full bar.
We were turned away by staff. And not welcomed to a table or menus!!! The staff yelled across the room saying the wait for dinner would be one hour!!!Shame! I only seen 4 groups seated...* arrived 3/18 at 6:30pm - for a party of 3
Little bit of a wait time, but the food was hot and very good! Some of the best tacos I’ve had in a while! Owner was very nice and even threw in some chips and salsa for my wait. Very good food and pleasant experience.
Went here for the 3rd time to celebrate my daughters birthday since she asked for wet burritos. Restaurant had plenty of seating at 7:30pm on a Wednesday, we were seated right away. We ordered two red sauce wet burritos, kids menu chicken strips, chicken chimichanga and server recommended mocajete saying “it wasn’t on menu but it’s good and she recommends it.” I was in the mood for fajitas so when she described the food I asked her if it came with side of tortillas. She said yes so I figured I would try. Food came out pretty quickly and server was friendly. But unfortunately she seemed to be the hostess, bartender, and waitress all in one for the evening. She did not find time to offer refills on drinks, or check up on the food until handing us the bill. The “red” sauce on the wet burritos was a mole sauce and some people may enjoy but was not was not to my son’s or the birthday girl’s liking. Chimichanga was decent. Mocajete was not enjoyable. I was wishing I went with something else but was too late at that point. The chicken and shrimp were dry, I didn’t enjoy the sauce it was resting in. On the kids meal the Chicken fingers were over cooked, fries were good. When we got the bill the server asked if I enjoyed my mocajete I simply told her “eh it was ok” figuring I would just not be persuaded next time on what I wanted to order. Unfortunately the food I did not enjoy was 35 dollars. I was pretty surprised the waitress would feel comfortable recommending something that costs 3 times a normal menu price item without offering some sort of warning about the price. That rubs me the wrong way just seems pretty deceitful. I’m giving 2 stars because I had gone before twice and was satisfied with the food enough to go a 3rd time. I would not return to El Patio after this experience unless I was only ordering Margaritas.
I do not recommend this place. The food was ice cold the drink was watery and the service was extremely slow. The management jessie had an attitude when I told them about replacing my meal. I still gave a tip but I definitely won't be coming back
The man was Sooooo rude will never ever go again!! We were waiting to eat and my niece had to use the restroom. He told us absolutely no!!! We were eating at his restaurant!! But because we hadn't ordered yet he told us no. Was incredibly rude.
Really enjoyed their shrimp and bacon wrap.
Loved it. I was reluctant to go because of a lot of not so good reviews, my friend chose the restaurant so no worries. The beef in my enchilada was so flavorful and tender. The red sauce was delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient. They have a banquet room too .
