Was intrigued by the matcha items so had to try it after dinner in the marketplace. Got a green tea ice cream cone forget the name its listed as. It was good but bitter wasn't used to a slightly bitter matcha flavor ice cream like this. I personally loved it. The ladies there were nice and very speedy.Definitely a place to try if you like matcha.

Excellent soft serve. I ordered the mixed parfait, but I wish I had gotten the mixed soft serve. The matcha jelly on the bottom of the parfait, while good, was not as satisfying as the soft serve. I’d rather have a whole cup of the soft serve instead of half soft serve and half jelly.
Get your matcha fix here! Such high quality matcha soft serve that is incredibly earthy and wonderful. I have had other matcha ice cream before, but this is on a different level.I got their Premium Mix Soft Serve which is a swirl of their hojicha and matcha. Great combo! It also came with some mochi, azuki (red bean paste), and a gold lettered chocolate piece. Picture perfect!There are other various Japanese food stalls that are 'hidden gems' too. This little area on the side of the Del Amo Fashion Mall is pretty amazing. This definitely makes the trip worth it!
First off, I should preface that I used to sell tea and have studied Urasenke at the beginner level, so I'm probably pickier than most. That being said, this place was a disappointment.This is the fourth time I've come to try this place and I finally found it open. I ordered the premium matcha. At $16, I was expecting koicha, but maybe expecting koicha outside of an ochakai is being naive. It was bitter. Real matcha is shade grown and shouldn't be bitter. I could tell that the base tea had pretty good umami, but since it wasn't prepared correctly, it was chalky. The chasen was filthy. I wouldn't even clean fish with it. Very flat aroma. Tasted more like Nishio matcha rather than Uji. This place is certainly no Ippodo.The packaging and presentation however, was beautiful.
