Delicious, Authentic food and Great value on drinks, especially Sapporo on draft. Very friendly service and quick serving speed. Definitely come back!

Delicious authentic yakitori! Makes you feel like you just went to an omasturi. If you want the best deal go on beer wednesday and enjoy a 10 dollar sapporo beer tower!

My go to for yakitori because:- Reasonably priced- Good quality- Good sized menu that's manageable and not over reaching- Friendly staff- Half off your first beer tower Wednesdays- Solid happy hour deals- They STILL have outdoor patio seating!!!It's a popular spot so try to call and make a reservation even on weekdays, highly recommend for weekends. Can't get through? Funny give up, keep trying!
Customer service here is great, wait staff smile with their eyes here. I do have to point out that i was a bit disappointed with their replacement of the raw quail egg for some poached egg in soboro rice. The reasoning was COVID, which is difficult for me to understand. Everything else was great. Ordered short ribs, chicken skin, gizzard, pork belly, rib eye skewers, tongue skewers, couple sushi rolls, ginko skewers, etc.
The waitress remembered us and our special request although we were there 3 months ago, so impressed.Wonderful foods and wonderful customer services.Every time we come to South California, this is our "must-go" restaurant.
Torihei, a special place for my wife and me since 2010 when we were poor students... Even when we moved to SF and NY, whenever we come back to LA, we will always reserve the counter seats for dinner. This review is based on our recent visit in Sep. 2021.- All skewers are constantly great throughout the past 10 years.- The chicken wings are the best of world. We have been many high profile toriyaki restaurants in Tokyo. Your wings beat everyone, seriously. Please remain the same quality and keep it on your menu forever.- We really love the limited chicken ramen and fried cheese tofu. Unfortunately, they are not on the menu anymore. So sad! Please bring them back! =]- One suggestion: we find the apple shochu doesn't taste the same as before. Maybe the shochu is less stronger, or it's just our taste changed.
