Not the best tacos for sure. It is not the authentic tacos that it’s supposed to be. The meat has no flavor, very bland and it almost looks like a pâté. The meat taste like it’s been soaked it water. Even the dipping sauce is awful. It’s very disappointing. I personally won’t recommend this if you really want an authentic Mexican tacos. Go to Taco Sinaloa in Carson or Ensenada’s surf n turf grill in Lawndale. You won’t regret it.
Really good, old school hard shell tacos. No frills and no filler here. Great ratio of meat to lettuce, cheese, etc.Chips taste like they are homemade as well.
Really good, old school hard shell tacos but not out of this World. No frills and no filler here. Great ratio of meat to lettuce, cheese, etc. Chips taste like they are homemade as well. To go orders only right now with pandemic
Tom’s has the best crunchy tacos! Love the All Meat Burrito too. Tito’s who? I’d rather have Tom’s!
Found this place when I decided that after years of torture, lining up for for over priced tacos, served with a dose of bad attitude in Culver City, I’d had enough. What a nice discovery. Beef tacos are every bit the same except more meat and for considerably less moolah. Same for the tostadas. But this place has chicken tacos ?and kalua pork tacos ??? as well as other stuff, all served with a smile to boot. Imagine that! I now have to try out all the other things as well. When having the crave for this style of tacos go to Tom’s and save time, $$$ and your sanity. BTW the red salsa is for beginners and the green has a little more heat. Mix the two and it’s perfect for chip dip ?
Good food, salsa a bit bland, always fresh.
How does this place have 4+ stars??? If you hate spice and authentic flavor then go for it, but I will not be coming back
This is my favourite taco place in Torrance. My standing order is 5 fried tacos, chips, red and green salsas, and a beef and beans burrito with cheese. The burrito is for snack later.
Traveling through and came for the reviews as it was a Taco Tuesday. Food was ok, just don't get the hype. Cash only ( which is okay), No taco Tuesday special (which is okay), Took a bit to get food (assuming due to call in orders? Okay to wait for a great meal), Taco was just okay.
Close enough to Tito’s in Culver that I don’t need to drive all the way up to scratch that itch. Beef tacos is what I order every time. Even the chile con carne burrito tastes very similar. Cash only. Call ahead to place your order. The guys working here are always friendly and attentive.
