I tried the Mexican street corn bowl with salmon and it was disappointing. The portion sizes are so small compared to other places selling grilled fish. This bowl comes with romaine lettuce but it had literally 5 small pieces lol. The flavor is bland and price is on the high side for the amount of food you get. The Mexican street corn has way too much lime and it’s really all you taste ? First and last time eating here.
Their takeout boxes are PLANT ? DERIVED material that is COMPOSTABLE in the trash! No plastic that will end up in the ocean, and no microplastics or styrene (styrofoam) toxin for our bodies. Thank you!
I don't know, the salmon portion was miniature. The cali bowl and fish taco looked sad. The food came out a bit cold. Not the best Rubio's.
Tacos and quesadillas were a good size. Quesadillas were larger than competitor and cost the same. Shrimp on tacos were okay. Don’t want to say they were not fresh. But they could have been fresher. Still good quantity. Not sure why there is no rice included with the plates? Will be back. A little expensive for take out. But everywhere seems to cost more lately.
The food was great, didn't taste all much different than my similar orders when I worked in a different location.A cashier named Lucille with red hair took my order and she was really kind and patient taking my order. Thanks to the team for doing a great job, both in the front and the kitchen.
Food quality seems like it's declining. Loved Rubio's but this order food and chips were oily and stale. Hopefully they get better again.
Came in to get a burrito bowl… asked for a steak especial burrito as a bowl with no beans and sauce on the side. First they brought me the bowl with chicken. Then, they brought it with beans (which I’m allergic to). I ended up asking for a refund. The male cashier was very rude. Made me feel uncomfortable for asking for him to take it back. Didn’t want to request it go back again for fear of someone spitting in my food… Had to sit and watch my friend eat… I hadn’t eaten all day… Highly disappointed.
I love their salads but always have to get it go go since the store itself always has a funky smell to it. Not necessarily a smell related to the cleanliness but as if something is outgassing from a vent pipe.
I ordered the California steak burrito And by far this is one of the best burrito I've ever had in my life. I highly recommend this location not only because the food is Delicious. But because I was welcomed and greeted by Luis. He was very informative about what was on the menu. I'm definitely coming back....
