Food is good. Service is not good. He acted like he was doing us a favor. Never checked
We eat here often and it's always fabulous food, great service, and lively, happy atmosphere! Also worth noting that menu adjustments for dietary restrictions are a breeze--SO appreciated!! Thank you and see you again soon!
I need to start off in saying that I would rarely write a 1 star review. We frequent nice restaurants and have never had such horrific service at this price point. Our daughter was turning 12 and loves trying different Italian restaurants,Bettolino in Redondo being her favorite, but wanted to surprise her with something different for her birthday. Even though I made note of it, our daughterâs birthday was never acknowledged by anyone. Our waiter barely talked to us and when he did he wanted our entire order. For what ever reason he seemed to want nothing to do with anyone and visited our table all of 3 times. I was actually trying to read my order from the menu as he took it from my hand and I had to pull it back and point at the item because I felt I only had moments to live if I didnât place my order in time. Our bread showed 2-4 minutes before ALL of our drinks, apps and entrees appeared ALL at once. Our old fashions were made with wells whisky that they bumped up to $14 and were undrinkable and burnt our throats so badly that we left them at the table. We would of sent them back, but that would of required a sever or waiter to check on usâ¦that didnât happen. The Daou (retail $19 a bottle wine), was $15 a glass and was basically dropped on our table and THAT showed 5 minutes or longer into our entrees was the best item because they had nothing to do with the manufacturing of the wine. Not one item on the meal felt worthy of bragging about, which is just sad because I was hopping weâd love something and that something would redeem the sour taste that the service left in our mouth. The piano player would of been great, but sadly building was overwhelmed by the sound, we couldnât hear anyone speak. We even watched a family next to the piano clear a dirty table to get a tad bit out of the way of the pianos sounds. They had our same sever so clearly there was no help in making their evening better, but I hope they had a better time than we did.
We had a wonderful dinner and the service was excellent! Great ambience and just a lively fun place to dine!
Outstanding service and not to mention the delicious food!
Wonderful dinner, as usual Made a reservation for a Wednesday only because Lou would be singing. Didnât disappoint!
They always find me the perfect table and cocktail too.
Everything delicious
Primo Italia is in my opinion the best Italian in the South Bay. Having traveled extensively throughout Italy I can that this is just like being there. It is said and I believe it that you canât get a bad meal in Italy. The same is true for Primo. Consistently excellent every time!
We had a great experience here. It is a hidden spot. My boyfriend is Italian. His mom always made great Italian food for him when he was young, So he has very picky about Italian food. Since we moved to Redondo Beach, he wanted to find a good Italian Restaurant in this area. We are too lazy to drive to Downtown LA. However, this place has a great Margherita; Polpo Alla Griglia was good as an appetizer and Linguini con Vongole was excellent. Also, We enjoyed the piano play. We recommend it to our neighbor.
