I had the pupusa plate and they were very delicious. The rice is very much Salvi as well as the beans are delicious. The prices have gone up a bit but where haven't they. I also had the platanos and they were perfect! Sweet and soft on the inside and crunchy, crusty on the outside. Great for dipping in the frijoles molidos. I also has the ensalada drink and they fruit tasted fresh and crisp. All in all I would recommend and will be going again. I am sad they took out the salpicon dish, it's my favorite. Hopefully they'll bring it back.
The popusas, caldo de res and michelada are really good here. The rice is very good and so is the service.
This place was Cousy and comfy.I ordered combo fajita and pupusas ( with a MUST TRY) comment on the menu. I also ordered to drinks as I will share a photo. My scores:Horichita ( brown drink) : too sweet to drink 2/5Tamarindo: ( orang drink) : smooth taste 4/5Fajita: taste good and smelled good 5/5Pupusas : I didn’t like it! Too oily which felt unhealthy! Maybe others liked it but I didn’tIn general nice place and friendly people, maybe I have to try other foods and snacks next time
I used to love this place but the prices are ridiculous. $15 for two pupusas, rice and beans and horchata is $6. I know costs are up, but this place has raised prices more than the average restaurants. I used to come here about once a month, now its gonna be like once a year.
When to buy bread and other goods at the store next to the restaurant, there were 2 employees. I asked them 2 questions, the young girl didn’t know anything. The older woman answered in a bad way. I reviewed with 2 stars due to bad customer service. You can find good bread with more affordable prices at a grocery store.
Hearty, delicious meals, excellent customer service, and an overall great experience. If you are a food, this place is a MUST-TRY. Have also tried a few things from the bakery, and the pastries and sweets were delicious!! Breads that melt in your mouth, tres leches, everything was amazing. Gotta go and try it out!
While the food was good, they only earn 2 stars for misleading prices. I was overcharged on every, single item! Check your bill because everything was billed more then the menu price (some items were just a few cents more and some prices were nearly a dollar more then the menu price)
Good pupusas, all combinations are great, chorizo, spinach, or with beans and rice as side. The coffee ☕ and natural jamaica water is delicious! Enough parking space and great customer service. Definitely good place to have a family meal. Recommended ??!
I was craving tamales, and my husband mentioned La Esperanza because it’s right down the street from us. We placed a pick-up order over the phone, and they said it’ll be ready in 15min. So we drove down to pick it up, and it was ready. Yay! The restaurant itself is small, and it looked like you could dine in. They have alcohol as well if you want a drink. We went home, and we dug right in. We ordered tamal de elote, tamal Mexicano, tamal Guatemalteco, platanos, and a slice of tres leches cake. The tamal de elote were just okay. They were steaming and were very hot, which is how we like it! The other tamales however, were cold. We had to put them in the microwave! That’s the worse! We only traveled literally two minutes, they should not have been cold. The platanos were hot and yummy. The tres leches cake was delicious! Very moist and spongy. Overall, the food was eh. I would probably only go back for the cake.
Fire absolutely delicious, everything here is great. A wonderful place for authentic Latina cuisine. The tamales smack and are pretty fat y'all. You can't miss with this place, the pupusas are super good too. I always leave full full. Their bakery has some super creamy delicious cheesecake and that flan. THAT FLAN THO.
