I really wanted to like this place. The rolls and drinks are great, but I've been here several times and I noticed a pattern. Every single time I come here I end up with a stomach ache proceeding a visit when I order anything with milk like the coffee, taro, or thai tea. It's never busy either, so it could be that the milk is nearing its expiration date or is expired, which is scary to think. But I'm not taking anymore chances with this place.
Their poke bowl is seriously amazing. I eat a lot of poke and this one by far is one of my favs! Just go!
This store has the worst managers I have ever experienced in all my years as a Boba enthusiast. Although I enjoyed the tea prepared for me by an employee who was probably still in high school who's name was Alicia or something like that(her service was very prompt and accurate). As for the managers, they were very rude and impatient with the employees even thought they seemed to be new. I don't recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys a friendly smile and a warm welcome you won't find it here. ?
Good food !! Nice and clean. The server was very friendly and helpful about items on the menu. We had a burrito (a sushi roll the size of a burrito) and a poke bowl....both were fresh and tasty. On their drinks, you can order how sugary you want them, so we had thai tea with 25% sugar, a nice touch to sweet drinks. We also tried their taiyaki dessert with red bean paste, also very good. Light and crispy with the sweet bean paste.We spent $45 for 2 people.
I wanted to try a new boba spot, and I came across Kokoroll Cafe. It’s a cute spot that serves both drinks and food. The two ladies there were quick and efficient. I went with my hubby and my daughter. We ordered a Thai tea with boba, a signature milk tea with boba, and a mango smoothie. We also ordered some Nori Maki Hand-rolls. Everything was really yummy! The facility was clean and played good music. I’ll be coming back for sure!* The one thing I thought was interesting is that they charge .30 cents for ice. I normally don't ask for a receipt for most places, but I did this time. I wonder if that's a new thing places are asking. It just kind of blew my mind.
Love their shrimp and baked salmon roll! The entire people that work here are super friendly and patient. That's one of the main reasons why I keep coming here. Their customer service is exceptional.
