Good Vibes! Here early for breakfast with family. Food are delicious. Waitress was right, their meat quality is very good. Must try that fig melt sandwich! They even offer you a refill cup of coffee to go before leaving. Very good experience.
Weird vibes going on in here. The pancakes were super good and some of the best I’ve had. I do feel that the waitresses could be a bit more attentive and friendlier. I personally feel that they like to rush folks out because of the breakfast rush, it’s not nice to feel rushed out. They just want you to buy something, eat quick and leave so that they could fit more customers in.
Overall excellent breakfast! The traditional Benny was spot on. Blueberry pancakes have a hint of lemon and they are some of the best ever. Sopes Benedict was awesome. Just a bit of spice. Coffee was on point. Great breakfast place in Torrance. Loved it.
I took my mom to this place out of the blue. I’m glad we went. The service is great. The portions are big and everything was delicious. Definitely coming back.
Rating is for customer service. Wait time was an hour. Granted it’s Mother’s Day and I’m sure that affected the waiting time, but the people that checked in before us got seated and I thought we were next to be seated since we arrived after them. Turns out 2 parties got seated before us even though they arrived after us. After waiting for 1 hour we finally got seated we ordered and waited for another 20 min for our drinks and for the food another 30 minutes. I hope that the service we received had nothing to do with the fact we were the only Hispanics. I saw other tables getting their drinks and food, but we had to wait longer.
The Fig Melt is to die for! So good and the tomato soup that comes with it is so wonderful....Ill be back for a third visit. The service was outstanding, our waitress was so nice and accommodating. Looking forward to my next visit!!!
Great dining experience! Friendly and attentive staff. Menu has diverse and tasty offerings - and the coffee is great of course! Would absolutely recommend if you are in Torrance.
The food was okay (emphasis on okay) and the place was clean. However, the customer service for people of color is very poor. I am a black male & first time I went there I was with my girlfriend who is Puerto Rican. We we treated okay but I could tell that it was more out of respect for her then it was for me. On my second visit I stopped in on my lunch break and the energy was not welcoming. When I mentioned my name it was automatically assumed that I was not the person who’s name I said and that I was picking up an order for doordash, I have never driven for doordash. On my third and final visit I came in once again for lunch by myself and was immediately asked, “Do you need something” in a tone that was stern and short tempered. The person who asked this was an older woman who I believed to have been the manager. I politely smiled and said I was there for lunch and she stated to wait in line for the cashier as she walked way (I was already in line). The person who took my order was a younger girl with short hair, she was actually nice every visit, no complaints. However, after taking my order she was replaced by a gentleman who brought my food out and he said nothing…I told him thank you and to have a nice day and he never acknowledged me once , as I stood right in front of him. When I was mid sentence thanking him for my food he interrupted me to welcome the person coming into the door behind me , as if I was invisible, then he immediately turned and left the counter still without saying a single word to me. Moral of the story , I will not be back.Side note: the omelettes with meat in them come with very little meat and are filled mostly with peppers and onions.
Clutch and Coffee is one of our favorite after Sunday mass places to eat. They serve the entire menu; breakfast, burgers, salads, and sandwiches.Pictured is the Salmon Salad Open-Faced Sandwich (I cut off a taste before snapping the pic). It was well portioned and seasoned. The pickled red onions offset the yolk of the perfectly hard boiled egg. Just plain delicious!
Had a fantastic breakfast wrap with a side of potatoes. Breakfast potatoes were some of the best I've had in a good while. Unfortunately the coffee bar was closed at the time so I couldn't grab one of their specialty drinks. Looking forward to the next visit!
