i"ve been going to bonellos since they opened in 87. their pizza is delicious and Paul is such a nice guy. i think his kids run it now and he only comes in occasionally to make sure everything is on point. being that its walking distance from west high, it was one of our most frequently visited lunch spots.. thanks all the years of awesome service and great pies!
Great, tasty pizza, crispy, warm garlic bread, and friendly service. The only reason for the four stars is the salad. It just wasn't good. Lettuce, and only a few thin slices of tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, and a ton of cheese. The lettuce was obviously the lettuce they use for sandwiches, as it was shredded. So no go on the salad. But will be back for the pizza and garlic bread.
I've been coming to Bonello's since my days at West - great pizza and very friendly people who work there. Bonello's has consistently satisfied my cravings for garlic bread, and I like how accessible this location is for those living around West Torrance!
This place has been here since I was a kid, but I've only been to their San Pedro location. The pasta was amazing, the pizza was delicious and the garlic bread really hit the spot. My only issue is that some of the workers and most of the customers do not wear masks. All in all great customer service and delicious food!!
I give 2 stars because it was actually not a rubber slipper with cheese, although close. Looking at some pics posted from others, they look nice. I am from NYC, but could not care less about it or trendy labels ascribed to it. Simple, homemade, is best. If a pizza is like salty bubble gum and is soggy and soft a day later it's because of dough conditioners. Less is more. Make it better.
The pizza is our favorite in the neighborhood. We love the Sicilian. We have gotten pizza from this neighborhood restaurant for over 20 years. It's a family run place which is amazing. The only sad part is over the years the pizzas have gotten much smaller the XL is not the same size as it was years ago. We still love it we just need to buy more than one pizza now.
Bonello's has had great pizza for years! So tasty and fresh! And I love supporting a local, family owned restaurant!
I'm wondering if this is a place that is across the street from El Camino college that my mom and I used to go to when I was like seven. I'm now 45. I'd really like to eat at that place again.
Straight forward neighborhood pizza shop. They reheated my pepperoni pizza slice to perfection. Their slices are big and they cut them in half.
Tried their pizza out for the first time and the it was freaking delicious. I strongly recommend trying them out when you get a chance.
