Wow! This is one of my new to go diner places in South Bay area now! The foods are very tasty and the staffs there are super friendly. The portions are generous, and the price is very reasonable. This place feels like an old school diner vibe with many bears décor. I do feel like going to a family-owned restaurant and love the atmosphere there.Quick tips: This place is always packed during Sat/Sun lunch hour. You should go there very early in the morning and later in the afternoon if you do not want a long wait in line. Food does take some time to prepare and get ready to serve.
If you find yourself in Torrance and feel like a hearty and tasty breakfast, stop by! Be prepared to not be able to clean your plate.
I Only have only eaten at black bear diner in Arizona...But for today it's in Torrance... food was pretty good (but can u really screw up breakfast?Hope..not) but I had the sweet waffle with thick..cuz bacon...i really liked the waffle it had such a sweet, vanilla flavor to it. .was hoping the waffle was a little bigger cuz it is on the smaller side in comparison to other restaurants, Bacon was bacon. It was good. Service was all right. Plan on going there again and maybe try some dinner. Really want to try their fried chicken steak. Only downside which is not even the restaurants fault but having to park further down with a broken leg and crush myself through the parking lot and people parking in handicap spots that aren't even handicapped. Just want to park and take up spaces. That's the only complaint I have

The atmosphere was inviting and very casual. Interior and exterior was clean. Everyone, within my party, were very pleased with the taste, appearance and amount of food. The prices were comparable to other restaurants of it's kind, it still seemed like more food was served! All staff practiced safe and healthy guidelines. Our service person was professional, kind, courteous and attentive. We will return!!
Not that crowded, we got seated right away. Food came quick. It was good, great portions. and the Restrooms were super clean!
Amazing service! Always love the cozy atmosphere of Black Bear Diner. The Huckleberry shake is a must-try.

Well I order steak vegetables onions right were fine. My daughter order turkey was old like thanksgiving food yeah she order mush potatoes bad. She was sick for one night. My wife a chicken sandwich very bad bacon color white and slammed avocado black old chicken unfrozen. I don’t know if had salmonella. She got sick for 2 day. No eating vomit ? and no. Sorry is a bad place can kill anyone oh and the ask for tips. $70. Bad food and + tips for what thanks for your bad food.
