Used to be a great place but their service is just going down the hill. Chose to serve your customers or serve the CDC. Can't do both.

This place is delicious. One meal is good for two people. Side dishes are awesome.

Good food and service!!! I loved it!!!!! While me n my sister having dinner, it was pretty busy but our sever n other was keep checking the tables n ask anymore need !!! Time like now so many bad attitude we get from so many place...... we had good peaceful dinner !!! Thank you !!!!

We were trying to find a replacement for the Beverly Tofu in Koreatown that closed its door last year because of slow business due to covid. A search in yelp led us to this place. Apparently, this is the first tofu house in Ktown and the one that started it all. All other restaurants afterwards seem to follow its model. Also, if you have ever been to an Asian grocery store with Korean items, you are likely to see BCD package tofu soup to take home and do it yourself. So, we thought the food is good (the special spicy is ghost chili grade spicy) although there are probably places that are as good or better nowadays (we thought food at Beverly tofu was better but now the business is gone). A good thing is that each order of tofu comes with a side dish of fried fish (I think it was yellow croaker) which is almost a meal itself. They also sell side dishes and their own kimchi separately (commercially prepacked). They have a couple of stores. We went to the torrance store (this review) and also the one in Wilshire. Both stores have parking, but there is typically a line, and probably a lot of bad reviews may come to the way that the long lines are managed. The one in torrance seems to be receiving a lot of complaints by the time we arrived, but we actually were able to sit in 20 minutes and be served promptly. I think Ktown should be highly considered as part of one's LA itinerary, and tofu soup is a a good budget friendly option. BCD is iconic enough to deserve one visit, if you are into tofu.

The namesake soup here is incredibly flavorful. Tofu isn't my favorite, but I still loved this place. If you're a tofu fan, RUN here ??‍♂️

Short old lady in orange started yelling at me. Screaming in my ear to get back. I'm just here trying to do my job I've been here multiple times this is unacceptable and needs to be fixed I don't deserve to be talked or yelled at like the way I was

Yep solid spot for sure for quality and delicious Korean food. How I wish this place is open 24 hours just like the BCD of Koreatown.

They have good dumpling and seafood tofu soup.Hot stone bulgogi and bibimbap with mixed veggies and beef are great. We like the seafood pancake too- it was really an awesome experience to have lunch @ BCD Tofu.

Dang excellent authentic Korean food experience here.

We went here for the first time for Korean food. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. They gave us plenty of Korean dish at the beginning and we got the seafood pancake and spicy bulgogi combine, which comes with a tofu soup and rice. The food was super tasty and the price is reasonable. Really enjoyed the experience. Will go back!
