Extremely Authentic, to the point where it's a struggle to find this good food even in India. Great prices, good portions and friendly service.
Food is not good. It’s too oily and not some stuff is not fresh. I ordered onion bhaji . But it it onion pakora
Amazing place to eat. I got the vegetarian meal and it was amazing. Good price and big enough to feed a few people. Good job guys. Keep up the good work. We need more restaurants like this around. These corporate Big Chain fast food restaurants have nothing on these small mom-and-pop places.
I am a Jamaican and I have something to say what this owner one day did to me. I always support these people and their business. My children and I live in Torrance, and buy Indian food since part of my culture as a Jamaican we eat curry. One say I passed twi peole sitting outside, a man and woman. I passed by to enter the restaurant and politely said hi, good evening to an Indian woman and man. I was passing between them so I didn't want to be rude. I entered the restaurant and I noticed an oversized Indian man that was ordering. That man became very nervous when he saw me and became very violent in his attitude for no reason, I figure because I am black wearing a mask. He doubled his fist as if he 8nstamtky wanted to attack me. I realized that the woman I Said hi to was his wife and child. I didn't do anything wrong just being polite. It was such a tension that I became nervous. I always come to this place and support. The owner sees me on many occasions and I even know his sons. They see me all the time coming to the Zebra bar. I drink there and eat at their restaurant. This man didn't try to make his customer comfortable, I asked him don't toy know me? He denied me that he never see me before as if he was disregarding me. It's such a shame to see a fight could have happened between me and the big guy. Your God is ashamed of you. I always support you and I felt so belittled by him when he should have stood up for me. It's my people that fought to make you be here 8n America and can be able to have a business to help.yout children. It's the 1965 immigration act Drm Martin Luther King have congress signed so you people can come here and be successful. All asians whether from India or China etc. It's appalling to see your behaviour and how you people think you can treat African american in such derogatory way. We didn't fought for black rights, we fought for human rights for every human being. What gave you done for us in America? Nothing. It hurts me to see an older man did nothing to make peace in his establishment. You should be ashamed. God don't like ugly. Your sons know me. I know when they read this, they know exactly who wrote it.
Nice little place which is Mainly known for the daily currys and chats they offer. Food is tasty at a very reasonable price. We tried Samosa chat and Bhel puri. Samosa felt very fresh and the outer layer crispy. Chutneys used were yummy. They also serve Indian breads with curry either to-go or here. Also carry some sweets. They also have basic grocery stuff. A little expensive on the packaged stuff but still works out during crisis. If you need something as a lunch or dinner combo veg/non-veg then this is the place to visit daily.
So easy to order and quick! I come here often for to go. They have rice, seasonings, snacks, dried beans, and some veggies in the store too.
Very, very well done vegetarian Punjabi food at a reasonable price. They have an actual tandoor, so the naan is genuinely better than many fancier restaurants I've been to. I'll definitely be a weekly visitor here.
The food here is good, flavorful and just enough spice/heat for me to handle. I had a combo rice, chicken curry, egg curry, cauliflower and potato curry, one piece of chicken leg, garlic naan and a coke was only $15.50. I’ll be going back here, it’s nice, small and family owned.
Don't let the store front pull you this is some of the best Indian food in the entire area of the South Bay. I eat a lot of Indian food all around almost like a connoisseur. This place for being a takeout place has some of the best food that you can match with some of the most finest Indian restaurants in LA
Ordered the egg curry, we got 6 eggs 2 were fresh and the other 4 looked like they were boiled and reboiled for days. The egg whites were leathery and inedible .
