The crust is too thick to really call it New York Pizza but it's still a very good pizza (by California standards, which are far lower than points east) and about the best you'll find in the immediate area.
Pizza arrived almost an hour late and was cold by the time we got it. When it’s fresh the pizza is good, but we waited way to long.
Most Fridays I stop by Tony's to get a pizza and salad. Great staff and friendly service - always.

This place was great but now the only plus is it's cheap for a reason I suppose it was delicious and satisfying but now ever time go here I end up on the toilet don't eat hear endless you want to be up at 2 in morning going why I no why wash your hands and clean up kitchen better don't cross contaminate stuff thinking about contacting heath department

I live "just up the hill" so Tony's is my default pizza place. I try to get there early in the week each week for a (double) slice. It's great that seating is now available, both outdoors (as it has been for some weeks) and indoors as well.The pizza is very consistent, and consistently good, which makes sense since there has been very little turnover in the "back of the house" staff for many years.The "front of the house" staff turns over a little more often, but I occasionally see the young women from the counter showing up years later as customers. The prices have amazingly stayed pretty consistent over the years as well.One other thing that has remained constant across many years is the ice tea dispenser. The "out of order" sign itself has faded, the silicone caulk that holds the dispenser down to the counter has yellowed, and there's no sign of any effort to repair it. Doesn't bother me; I drink Diet Coke.
