This is one of the oldest buildings and restaurants in Thousand Oaks! They have the best Tri Tip sandwich around. There's a meal with beans and macaroni which is pretty good! You can park in back and walk through the store to the front if theres no parking!

One of my fave go to lunch spots for BBQ! Tri Tip and grilled chicken breast are always a good choice for a nice lunch paired with potato salad and macaroni salad. If you enjoy beef jerky I recommend trying their homemade peppered as it is it delicious as well! Been coming here for a year now and glad to have a nice place close to work but get here fast as they sometimes run out during the busy lunch rush!
I don't know how this isn't more popular or well known. It is very basic (don't misinterpret that as bad) real, fire pit barbecue.It is very quick despite a short line ? outside the door due to COVID and the 6 foot rule.
My expectation is the flavor of the meat should stand alone without sauce and the Meat Locker does not disappoint. I think their tri-tip may be some of the best I've ever had.
Always love coming here brings up so many memories of when I was little & my gpa would bring me to get ribs. When he passed I made sure to start bringing my own kids here. Foods always excellent & the service is always good. Def recommended, I get the tri-tip chicken combo plate my kids & bf get ribs & tri-tip sandwiches. "Chefs kiss"
Ordered the Manly Tri Tip sandwich with beans and macaroni. The Trip Tip was good but a bit dry for my taste. Good meat should be delicious without the use of BBQ sauce. The habanero sauce was on point and I would definitely buy next time I'm in the area.

This place is marvelous, $13 and I got 3 Beef ribs, pesto pasta, and their great chili.The food is absolutely delicious, I felt emotionally impacted by these ribs.This place is amazing
