First timer here last week. Yummy, great portions, for a good price
Yesterday my family and I went in to enjoy our favorite nachos from Sharky’s . Unfortunately they are not what we expected because everything was cold. I kindly approached the staff in front about my issue and they pointed me to the manager “Israel”. He was very defensive in stating “he made the nachos and they were fresh.” I felt very embarrassed on how he handled the situation in front of his 3 or 4 employees. He made me feel like I was a liar when in fact the nachos were poorly made. After a minute or two he finally asked if I wanted them re-made and I just told him whatever I didn’t care anymore. I was a manager for many many years in the restaurant business and I’ve never made a customer feel that way nor spoke defensively when approached. Our job is to make the guests feel welcome and make sure they come back. We won’t be visiting your location anymore and I highly suggest you re-train management on customer service and the “customer is always right”. Even if they are wrong, in this case I wasn’t because the next batch that came out was hot and fresh. Thank you for your time , I just feel in this day and age , businesses are suffering and I would hope you would want to keep your customers happy, for whatever it’s worth.Update : Bob the franchise owner reached out to me promptly and was very kind and caring about the situation, because of him we will give this location another chance! I love Sharkey's food at this location, however they have a sign saying that masks need to be worn and they don't enforce it. When ordering I was behind a party six - all unmasked. I debated leaving, but stayed distant and asked the cashier if they were not enforcing the mask mandate. He said they were not. I am writing a review here in hopes that they will either take down the sign so I know how they are handling the situations, or follow what they are advertising. It is difficult for teenagers or college students to do the enforcement, so I would ask that management step up in this case. Thank you.
I was late to pick up my food due to a work lunch time mixup. They thankfully still had it waiting for me. They allowed me to eat in the restaurant so I had more time to enjoy my break. The food was great. I tried their watermelon lemonade and it was so good! 10/10 would get again. The guys were awesome. On such a stressful day, I was thankful for their chill personalities.
The fish burritos are great. Their chips and Sharkeys salsa is really good.
Sooooo good! Everybody so friendly and happy to help. Food so healthy and fresh. We need one in Tampa or Valrico Florida please, they have no idea what good fresh Mexican food is!
