Wow, this place is incredible. The sushi I got is phenomenal. The staff there is very kind as well, they gave me a complimentary Edamame and salad as well as Green tea which was incredibly nice of them. I’m very happy I came here and tried it out. Phenomenal food and incredible staff! Highly recommend!
Best sushi in TO and all of Ventura County! This includes Parts of LA county. They have experienced chefs and always fresh choices of fish. They are professional and have reasonable prices with great menu items. The happy hour is great for drinks and a budget.
Amazing sushi restaurant, the rolls, sushi and sashimi are always fresh and extremely tasteful. The Spanish mackerel and AAA roll are spectacular. I would recommend this restaurant to any and all of my friends and colleagues.
Best service in town! Friendly staff always remembers my special needs child's order and the food is top notch.
Years ago we used to come here but I don’t know what happened. We went tonight and some of the rolls seemed fresh but the salmon skin salad was terrible & seemed like a week old. Very tasteless, gummy & inedible. The customer service is very good but I hope they aren’t using low quality ingredients because of pandemic. I was really sad and disappointed in the meal tonight ☹️
Been going here for years! Steve is always awesome! Best sushi in Thousand Oaks!
Minato Sushi is the best sushi in Thousand Oaks. You always get great service and great food. The rolls are served with huge portions so make sure you are very hungry when you order a variety. Minato doesn't disappoint. Lastly, the new online ordering process works great if you want to take home sushi for a date night in or the whole family.
minato sushi is the best in ventura county, what a nice place with fresh fish and veggies.
Went with family. Dad was not impressed with his Minato Yakisoba. Mom had a sushi roll filled with crab, tempura shrimp and topped with large pieces of eel and sauce. She enjoyed this. I ordered Udon Tempura, I did not enjoy this. It was very salty and sweet. Had only two tempura shrimp, spring onion, mushroom, and 3 kamaboko. I believe the broth to be Kanto style. Bonito flavor was non existent and miso flavor was present which is unusual for this dish. It was very poorly balanced and with the overly salty sweet broth it diminished all flavor from the udon. There was a lot of broth and udon so you wont go hungry, but it was a very uneventful dish do to the lack of toppings. We ordered an Dynomite appetizer sadly this was brought out last. This was sweet, it was sort of a seafood casserole on rice. I have had better. This lacked character and was served at the incorrect time. The place was not busy. Service was attentive and friendly. I believe sushi would be a better choice than any cooked food. While waiting for our food I heard someone angerly complain about his food being too greasy as opposed to before. It is best to avoid cooked food here. Stick with sushi.
Great sushi! Always fresh.
