We've known Mitsu for over 30 years and he has the freshest sushi we've ever eaten. Kanda Sushi is a must for great food. An absolute gem.

Make no mistake, this is legit Japanese cuisine and a cut above the average sushi bar.First, the chef had fresh selections on hand that aren’t common for average restaurants. He was doing Amaebi and fresh Uni, as well as multiple types of premium tuna.This type of quality is getting harder and harder to find. I would highly recommend checking this place out. The sushi is very close to traditional style and very fresh! Absolutely wonderful staff, atmosphere and of course food. This is the best sushi place I’ve been to! I will definitely be coming back here.

Absolutely divine. No California rolls, no mayo, no giant fish pieces - it's like eating in Tokyo (where I used to live, thank you). One of the top sushi restaurants in Los Angeles. Go if you have a clue about iwashi, if you know your aji from your saba, and if you love natto-maki. Some fish flown in from Japan and the Pacific Northwest. The rest of you plebes can just go elsewhere. Haha.
