Jack in the box is normally not great. Stale buns, mediocre fries. I want to like the ultimate cheeseburger but every time I get it I remember why it can be a year between visits to Jack in the box. It's not the best option. Especially in that area right off the Wendy exit. Last time I went with my girlfriend she got really sick after having their chicken sandwich.
Service was a bit slow and we got a smaller shake than ordered, but they corrected it. Food good, though

Well, the tacos and onion ring were good. The side salad had some extra protein...a small and bug. Cost of the salad was made up for in churros. Not as healthy but very good.
One of the very few fast food places that accept EBT in Ventura County. Any fast food / big brand place that takes food stamps automatically gets 5 stars in my book...
Food was good, made to order, fresh came how you asked for it. The only problem is I've noticed at alot of Jack in the Box in Ventura County has a sign that says, "Now accepting EBT!" EBT what? Cash or SNAPS? I walked up to a worker and asked and she seemed confused but said, EBT Cash. OK! I got both...really just SNAPS and a lingering $13 from a few months ago. I order thru drive thru. Once I pull up to the window, I try and get a 2nd answer. I don't they understood what I was asking because all I got was a, "Yes!" So I ask to run my card as SNAPS..."Declined!" OK then it must be just cash they accept(EBT Cash)? I ask them to run my card as Cash..."Declined!" I finally just say, "eF it! Just use my debit card" & hand over my debit card. While waiting for my food, I check my EBT balance on the SNAPS app and I still have the $13 in cash and more than enough SNAPS to pay for my Jack in the Box order on the card!??♀️
