Yum. This is the best kept secret -- the place to go on Saturday to get your BBQ fix satisfied

We like to get the baby back pork ribs and barbeque chicken from the Elks club, available most Saturdays.

Best, barbecue in the Conejo Valley. Open only Saturdays starting at 10:00 a.m. till they run out of food.

I buy the baby back ribs every time they have them there barbecuing is fantastic they have a pretty good setup on Saturdays go early or you won't get anything

Great place nice peopleGreat car show , cook off

A couple of months ago I had some time to kill in Thousand Oaks. I was driving around aimlessly when I saw a sign that said Elks BBQ with an arrow indicating thataway so I decided to check it out. One of the best decisions I've ever made. When I got to the place, there was a serious grill team out front and the meats were really smoking and luring folks in so I parked and followed the masses. There was a moderately long line but it moved pretty fast and finally I was up. I'd already decided to try the tri-tip sandwich and I expected them to be on the small side so I ordered two. They were huge and two people probably could have shared one of them. I did manage to finish one of them and kept the other for later. It was so good, I went back with a friend the next week but they were closed due to a red flag warning. When I found myself in Thousand Oaks again last week, I went straight to the Elks Lodge and got myself another sandwich.I'm not sure if the tri-tip is exactly Santa Maria style but it's perfectly smoked, moist, and full of flavor. Sauce is available but I never used it. In addition to the sandwiches they have pork and beef ribs and maybe chicken with chips and drinks and bottled BBQ sauce on the menu. The sandwiches are eleven bucks each and the ribs are $17 and $25 for a half rack and whole rack respectively.Apparently they have multiple grill teams but the two times I've gone here it's been the same team so there could be some variance in the experience depending on who's cooking.

I go every Saturday morning for a sandwich. Sometimes the sandwiches are bigger depending on whos making them that day, but never had a bad one.

They have ruined the tri tip sandwich they have started to charge more and give less tri tip also have started to cut there sandwiches smaller something is going on there. I was very unsatified.

You couldn't get a better Tri-tip sandwich if you tried.
