I was not very happy this time at the restaurant. I place my order online to pick it up on my lunch break. Not only was my food not ready. Once it was ready they got it wrong. So, I had to wait more time for the correct order. I hope this was a one time deal, because I would be very upset if it happens again.
Poor sound when ordering in drive through, good food.
I wish there is a less star to give. This branch decided to package chicken that they must have reheated several times because we ordered online. Got home only to find the chicken so dry that my kids just couldn’t eat them.It is really sad that people could pack food for that is almost like a left over which was what my girls called it. Wanted to drive back and throw the food at them, but my wife asked me not to do so. She had to make food so late for the kids to eat. Just so sad and wicked from the workers.
Waiting in line to order with 6 other people lined up and only one staff member preping all the orders. One of the workers Olga is eating in the lobby and still with juice from her food dripping down her chin, proceeds to get up and start ringing customers up without even washing up. She starts taking orders with greasy fingers. I feel sorry for the other staff that are working so hard and no manager is there to help.
Absolutely terrible!!Frozen salad!!They didn’t want to take it back she very rude she said that they keep the salads frozen. But I bit into the cheese and it was completely frozen and the chicken was fatty and cold she did eventually take it back but wasn’t happy about it So disappointed as I always eat here but the food has gone down hill. Look at the last negative review as the restaurant replies. Karen!!. I mean wow. Talk about woke… management look deeper into this place
I went to get some lunch today monday 10/4/21 but it seems like they burned the chicken which means that they shouldn't sell that chicken if it's burned check out the photo that's not fair.
Always consistently good. I had the two piece white, breast and wing w/ Pico de Gallo flour tortillas pinto beans and cold slaw!
Tried to order dinner at around 6:00 pm today and drove off after she kept repeating the order back to me incorrectly and she started getting frustrated. This is the second time in a month I gave up trying to order from this Thousand Oaks El Pollo. I have never had any problems in the last 10-15 years ordering food from there until recently. Maybe they just need training? Found that Chick-Fil-A next door doesn't have any problems taking orders.
Always a quick and easy way to eat delicious and healthy food! Service is always fast and friendly and the food is always hot!
I used to absolutely Love this place, Everything was so delicious & nice. The past 4 times I've gone have been completely unsatisfied from the attitude I'd get at the drive thru, to the burnt Fam. Meal Deal ( which I noticed after I was already home so I had to go back) then the last Pollo Chicken salad Bowl, & Big Order of Pollo Nachos, there wasn't any cheese at all, They were Dry Tortilla chips with a sm. Tsp of sour cream (I'm not exagerrating) some cut up tomatoes that looked similar to the side of Pico de Gallo small amt. NO CHEESE?? Not underneath, Not on the side, Nada! Very disappointed in this Pollo Loco. I rarely visit anymore becuz it's Always something or other. I used to be there 2 times a week when everything they had & did was exceptional. Customer service, & if they messed up anything they'd give you something to replace it plus let you keep what you complained about. I remember the Management was Spot On Everything, Kept me happy, & returning regularly. Maybe customer service isn't as important to management anymore but I believe you keep loyal customers coming back eager to spend their money on your establishment and you're set for life. I wish I cud have said The same gr8 things I used to say before about this place but It just hasn't happened for so long. Maybe they're under new management, whatever it is, they suck walk in, Drive Thru, Noone is friendly, or smiling, nor going out of their way to be polite or hospitable, no one is happy here anymore.
