Excellent!! Boneless lamb, veal stew, the butcher is expert and knows his meat and customers. Also got Italian olives, and grape leaves, ground beef & lamb. They have bonus points for repeat customers.
You get meat items what you need, but do not expect a warm welcome. Not even a smile or a hi ?. Felt like, they are nice to ppl only they know and also if they are from their community.
If you love Persian food, than this is the place. Not only can you get your lunch/dinner, you can do your grocery shopping right next door. You can get your Halal meats, love their home made Masto Khiar (Yogurt with Cucumbers) and Masto Moosir (Yogurt with Shallot), rice, Arabic breads, Tea and much much more, plus it’s very convenient. The owners are totally cool and down to earth. To the reviewer who thinks the prices are high, well everywhere the prices are high these days. Wake up, there is an inflation going and if you think this is the only place that the price has increased than you have not been out lately.
Have been a customer for many years and previous management was highly professional, kind and friendly. They demonstrated that you were a valued customer and their service was top notch. But after changing hands, sometime back, the charm of this market is no more. Even though their halal meat prices are substantially higher than comparable meat stores in the Valley I always shopped there for the convenience of the location. But no more. The arrogance in which you are treated rather than as a treasured customer has regretfully forced me to find my halal meat and Persian dinners elsewhere.
I liked this place so interesting concept
DELICIOUS! My favorite spot!
Good food
They have increased the already high prices on common grocery items!!Would NOT recommend unless you really have to!
A good place to get Mediterranean items for cooking. They sell good meat including goat/mutton.
My son bought me frozen green beans, today at 12 pm and i opened it in half in hours and i was shocked, this beans is super old and even discoloration to orengesh yellow, with frozen ice around ech been. I looked at the plastic to see if is any expiration on it,, Not AT All.So i call the store someone pick up the phone and i explain the issues and he stoped me and said I'm a cashier,,he refuse to get my number and give it to the owner and keep telling me come to store tomorrow, are you kidding me?It doesn't matter if you are the owner or cashier, when you answer the phone, you are responsible for customer service.
