Great pub in Thousand Oaks.
Great Pub atmosphere, wonderful service, great food, but takes a while on getting to the table.
- Potato skins were hearty and filling (ask for the sour cream and ranch).- The Shepherds Pie was delicious, French fries were perfect.- Sticky toffee pudding was good. It taste like zucchini bread in a sweet sauce.I'd recommend this location for food. I especially like how they separated the pub from the restaurant.
In a town that has always lacked local bars, Crown and Anchor has always been a stalwart standby. Their British classics are fantastic, there is always football on TV, and their beer selection is nothing to sneeze at.

I wanted a English breakfast or as close as I could find that LA offers and after some Googling I decided that Crown and Anchor was my best shot since they offer an all day Brittish Breakfast as part of their regular menu.The eggs were cooked perfectly, the banger was tasty, the back bacon and beans were tasty and had a grilled tomato. There was a toast as well.My mom is a big fan of sausage rolls so I gave that a try too and was very impressed with them. Great, flaky crust and sausage.They have a nice, outdoor patio under a big tree. Overall a great place to have breakfast foods for a tasty lunch.
I can't wait to come back here enough times to try all the menu items. Excellent shepherd pie, fish & chips, and best of all, scotch egg! Plenty of outdoor seating and friendly staff!
Great live music on Saturday nights. Cheap cocktails, good food and some dancing.
Excellent food (lemon garlic cod with mashed potatoes). Generous portions. Friendly, fast, efficient service, even though we had a dozen in our group.
