Best sushi I've had in a long time. Wonderful service, great deals (2 special rolls and get one free), I'm craving it as I write this review. I'll definitely go back!
I want to love this place for their great selection and affordable prices, however the last 2 times I have come here, I have found a black hair in my food (I have blonde hair??♀️)I was forgiving and hoping it was a fluke the first time, but to have it happen a second time, is what has inspired me to write a one star review. It is appalling to find black hairs in one's food. What I would love to suggest, if I may, is simply to wear a hair net if they cannot keep their hair out of said food.
Place has a bad service. They give the food and tables to people they see first, regardless if there's other people waiting in line. It's been over an hour since I'm waiting for my order and they keep saying 10 minutes.... waitress waist time triple checking an order and doing other but getting the food out
Have ordered from them through Doordash many times. Tonight, I waitied 45 minutes and got a call from Doordash that the restaurant says they need another hour to fill the order. If they can't handle the biz, don't take it. If they want to give low priority to Doordash orders, don't be listed on it. Really bad business practice. I won't be ordering form King Kong Sushi again.
Good selection. Low carb (no rice) sushi selection fairly large. Sushi is pretty good, but not great. Had it delivered and was fast - especially for sushi. The order I had was a bit mushy rather than firm fish. Worth trying.
The salmon mango cut roll is one of my favorite sushi rolls ever. Just had to start with this cause it’s probably why you’re looking at reviews. It’s clean with fast service. Staff is attentive and friendly. Restrooms inside the restaurant which is a huge plus. The only down side I had was that the axe throwing place next door triggered me with the low audible sound of constant thuds and shaking. It’s not this places fault but I really did enjoy my experience here!
Oof. Gave my partner food poisoning. Due to how rapidly he got sick after eating the Ramen and sushi here it was likely Staph. And likely the sushi not the Ramen.He hadn't eaten all day bc work so it was definitely this place.Make sure your staff follows hygiene practices and make sure your food stays the correct temperature.
Good sushi that won’t break the bank. Three of us ate for about $75. Good discounts on the special rolls (buy 2 get 1) and super quick service.
