We visited this last Sunday and sat out back to listen to the band. We enjoyed the band but the service was terribly slow, it took forever to get anything, placing our order, getting a box for leftovers, even the check. I would understand if the place was busy but it was not, either the staff is slow or they failed to schedule enough staff (looked to be enough staff). We just had taquitos and flautas which were good, but the bad service left a bad taste, not likely to return.
Always a great vibe, great drinks and just a fun place to go to! Happy Hour is 2-6pm and offers fun snacks at low $
I ordered the shrimp enchiladas and I thought they'd be better. The sauce was sparse and seemed like it sat under the heat lamp because by the time I got it it had dried up. My fiance ordered the chile relleno, hers was also not how they used to be. So a shrimp enchilada, 2 chile rellenos (1a la carte, and 1entree), a small quesadilla, 1 beer and 3 sodas was $90. I like Cisco's, the help is awesome and maybe a new cook, I don't know.
Been to the Westlake Cisco’s many times in the past and enjoyed it, so when I saw this one I was excited to try. It was a Saturday around 1pm. My niece and I hadn’t eaten so this was our first meal of the day and we were hungry. I ordered Chicken Suizas and she ordered a burrito. We also ordered some food to go. We both also ate in common the chips, salsa and “table side” guacamole. Exactly 4-5 hours later we both got terribly sick to our stomachs. Vomiting, shaking, chills and up most of the night. Fortunately, my mom didn’t get a chance to eat her meal because I stopped her before she finished warming it up for fear she would also get sick and at her vulnerable age it was a real concern. I will never return is all I can say. Lack of proper food hygiene or cross contamination is the only cause I can think of for what happened to us and it should be a basic in any food establishment. I cannot in good conscience recommend eating here.
We enjoyed the nice patio. Heaters available when it gets cooler. Good food, drinks and service. We can definitely recommend Cisco's.
Great place for lunch. I want to try it again but for dinner next time. Nice people and we barely had to wait for our food. I had one Stella but I believe they had a full bar.
Good, not great Mexican fare. Nice selection of dishes. None we had were overly hot or spicy. Service was good. We did not order alcohol so cannot comment on margaritas, etc. I did think it was a bit pricey by a few bucks (most dishes were close to $20). That’s high for Mexican.
Third time I tried this place . Bar tenders are great , Employees are great and the restaurant look is okay . But the food !!!! Unfortunately the managements probably haven’t tried other Mexican Restaurants. Once the food is on your table, it kills your appetite. I write this not to only complain but I hope the management read this and do something about the food. The price is not the matter but the quality!!! Thank s definitely not there although that they charge enough to give you a good meal .
They have really improved their outdoor space since the pandemic. We love sitting out in the evening with the twinkling lights and fire warmers. The house Margaritas are tasty. The appetizers are great. We don't usually eat dinner since a couple apps will fill you up.
Good restaurant. Fairly long wait. I got me a burrito. Last time I ate there was like 2 years ago ?? ?? ?? ?? ??
