Usually I only post a review of a restaurant after a couple of visits so I get a real feel for a place. But I made an exception for the California Fish Grill because we had a group and everyone ordered something different. We ordered the fish and chips, Branzino with brussel sprouts, salmon, fish tacos and clam chowder. Everything was great. My only complaint is that the fries were a bit limp.Wine and beer is available; they don’t have too large of a variety but there is something for everyone. It is a counter service restaurant so they give you a buzzer and page you to pickup your food at the counter when it is ready. The staff is friendly and efficient. Dine inside or on the patio. The best thing was the value they deliver. Most plates are under $15 and very high quality. Two plates plus one beer was only $35 for us.

I had the catfish with the garlic butter sauce. Also, zucchini and white rice. Overall delicious. Nice atmosphere and good fast service. I'll be back.

I was happy to find a fish restaurant within walking distance of my hotel. The relatively good rating is a mystery to me. The chowder had tiny pieces of fish in it. The vinaigrette of the salmon salad was completely over-sugared. The chardonnay was sour. The restaurant stinks of frying fat. The Muzak is painful without noise cancelling earbuds. My conclusion: this is the MacDonalds of the seafood world. Never again for me.

The service is good but the food was not so much. I got the calamari, fish and chips and my brother got the salmon burger with"street corn". The calamari had no flavor at all neither the meat or the breading was seasoned. The fish that came with the chips had no texture whatsoever, it turned into a weird mush in my mouth i didn't finish it. The burger was really good but the corn had a nasty after taste. Also the coleslaw was the worst coleslaw I've ever had. The place was full, so i might have gotten three dishes that were a bad fluke, but i wouldn't come back to find out.

Fresh fish and great choices. Had a delicious Salmon plate.Service was courteous and the place was clean and inviting.

Great shrimp tacos, fried shrimp, shrimp salad, and wonderful fries. We will absolutely be back to try more.

The food is topnotch! Fresh, flavorful and consistent. The roasted tomatillo sauce as a dip is bomb and to wash down, the house lemonades can't be beat! Few of rhe awesome choices include- the Swai or Branzino with cajun/butter half half style- any of the grilled shrimp skewers- the dynamite shrimp or one of the shrimp bowls- the grilled shrimp taco- the fried catfish- among the sides - - Cauliflower rice, Rosemary zucchini, kaleslaw or the grilled asparagusThe drop in a star is because they need to work on their Mahi Mahi. I guess it has become so popular that they make a set and keep almost cooked and then when an order comes in, do the final finish. Unfortunately that makes every single Mahi Mahi rubbery and over cooked. I would stay away from it unless you are eating in and can always send it back.Pro tip: Try the chewy marshmallow. It is a surprisingly good sweet treat!

Best grilled giant shrimp ever had nailed it. I like my shrimp on the grill longer this place got it on point. The presentation well done. I highly recommend. Keep up the good work.

Good price-quality! They have wild-caught options and healthy sides. Looks clean. The only thing is that my food was a little cold.

My kids love this place as much as I do! If this was a sit-down take my order and bring me my food restaurant prices would be double. The quality of the food is amazing and they're absolutely consistent. The only downside is they run out of things fairly often. Highly recommend!
