Good food. Was drive-thru only so there was a bit of a wait. After paying and getting the food I realized the prices on the board were not the same as what I was charged. Not a huge price jump but still maybe put a sign on the board saying the prices went up. The red salsa is good and I brought some home with me for later. If you are in the area I would check it out.
Order was messed up...my husband ordered 2 hard tacos and a bean tostadoand an order of taquitos...he came home with one taco, order of taquitos and shredded meat on the tostado....can they not get their orders right....Don't get why they are not open for walk in where you can make sure of your order....and the food was not like it used to be. We haven't been there in a while and this was a disappointment...
I've been enjoying the food from here for years. Favorite items are Asada burritos, the crunchy tacos, taquitos, and breakfast burrito with bacon. The guacamole is really good. I really like the red salsa, it's spicy but delicious. I like that it is a mom and pop chain. COVID is affecting their business negatively. They are short staffed and it has affected their hours and sometimes aren't open when they are supposed to be. They currently are drive thru only no going inside to order. I appreciate they are protecting their staff and it helps keep them serving customers. They have a sign explaining this on the front door. Please continue to support this small business they are worth it.
My daughter, husband and I went today 2/20/2022 we ordered burritos (Chile rellenos burritos) and kids (cheese and been)and one hour later we started throwing up and having the runs. We are pretty sure we have food poisoning. Sucks seeing my two year old sick.
This place definitely serves hearty portions in all of their meals. I get food from here when working in the San Marino area because San Marino lacks true savory Mexican market flavors in their city locale.
To me, one of the most Authentic Mexican food places there is and the best tasting! It's like eating at home? Anytime I'm in the area of Temple City or West Covina I have to go to Pepes Mexican Food, Thanks for all you do ??
They have some really good burrito options here!We ordered Chorizo Potato, Chile Verde and Bean & Rice burritos. The burrito size is bigger than most and they don't skimp on filling. They are on the expensive side for Mexican food but the quality of meat is excellent.
Still the best bacon breakfast burrito around. I'll dare someone have a better one. We could do s burrito competition to prove it.
The food at all the locations is good and consistent normally. This location has lost control recently, they have extremely long wait times. The drive through does not move efficiently.They still haven't opened the inside for a long time now. I don't think these young guys working there understand that it would help the traffic flow and ease the drive through if they opened.Let's get it together, take pride in the quality of service and food.
