They have authentic stinky tofu, enough said. Mr. Kuso's café serves Boba milk tea drinks and really good traditional Taiwanese dishes/snacks. There Boba isn't that great, but their food is. There dishes and snack range from $8-$12 and drink averaging $4-$5. Their dining area is exceptional small, accompanying at best 4 parties of 2. Most of the customers here seem to do take out. The service was friendly and accommodating. There was a bit of a language barrier, but it did not affect my experience. Stepping into the café felt like stepping back in time. TV screens were playing K-pop music videos from the previous decade(early 2010s) and flyer were posted around advertising all the snacks they had. It gave off mom and pop vibes and was very nostalgic. My go to order would be the braised pork bowl, lemon tea and with a side of stinky tofu, popcorn chicken, cartilage or curry fish balls.Side note: Majority of the snacks are fried, so if you have an aversion to oily foods or the smell of oil, this might not be the place for you.
Great service which seems to be contrary to other reviewers. The food was decent. Taiwanese comfort food. Not terribly helpful for customizing drinks -- the drinks werent great. Would come again.
I am a food delivery driver and I picked up a customer's order from this cute, little cafe/restaurant. Upon double checking, there were some discrepancies in the order and I immediately notified the person who was helping me with the pick up. The people behind the counter extended their assistance in a swift, and extremely polite manner. The older male (who I believe is the owner) is extremely kind and polite. We all make mistakes. Me too! (hehe!)Judging on how this restaurant handles issues, I am confident that this restaurant do NOT recycle old food and serve it to the next customer. Something that many restaurants tend to do is serving food that was made by mistake and may/may not serve it to new incoming customers (who knows, right?). NOT at this location. food/drinks are always made fresh, piping hot, or ice cold. I was touched by how kind and professional the people in this establishment are.Restroom is clean. Dining area is pretty small (nothing wrong with that, just an FYI) but very clean; spotless clean. Menu wise, this establishment offers a variety of taiwanese food (from snacks such as popcorn chicken all the way to the main meals) and some Japanese food (ramen, anyone?). They also serve boba (suggestion: try the boba milk tea). Prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking outside the establishment.I support local businesses and I will be very happy to spread my testimony with my family, friends, and colleagues. Great food, clean place, very nice and kind people, reasonable price, plenty of parking...? What else can I ask for? You will be seeing me as a customer also often now (not just a delivery driver).Thank you very much for your kindness and professionalism. The one and only restaurant with such a commendable service and quality so far.
Great Taiwanese food and great/fast service.
Best place in town ? !
amazing food at great prices plus amazing service! My go to place to eat! In my opinion, I would say this place is much underrated.
Various items on the menu with very reasonable price, but unfortunately, some of them are just too bland and didn’t really hit the spot.
Great coffee ? I'll be back for food and coffees join me
Their coffee boba is delish
