Really wanted to love it, but it didn't happen. The place was really crowded and had a 20 minute wait time. I ordered pancakes of course and also two eggs and two sausage. The food came out in good time and the plates were hot. Unfortunately the food wasn't as hot as the plates. In fact I would say my sausage was cold. They did give me new sausage that was warm but still not hot. Anyway, the point of this visit was some good pancakes. But my pancakes definitely had a baking soda flavor. Overall no need to go back.
This rating is based solely on the service. The food is excellent as always, but the service lacking. I sat at my table (came by myself as I just flew in from Texas) for a while. My server passed me more that 5x before I had to stop her. She smiled and was friendly, but I was an afterthought to her. Each and every time I wanted or needed something, I had to find her. I contemplated serving myself and tipping myself. I definitely wasn't a valued customer to her.
Better than IHOP!! So many different kinds of pancakes, crepes, waffles, and French toast choices plus more. The regular coffee was good. I really liked the vanilla creamer in the container and the wood stick to stir my coffee. The food was good too. I had eggs Benedict with the pancake potatoes. The waitress was attentive and polite. The two hostesses were great too. It took a bit long to get the food but it was worth it. It was busy. Will definitely return.
Good food and service. Tried the California Bennys. I prefer regular pancakes over potato pancakes, but tried them and they are also good. My wife ordered the Dutch Baby, worth trying.
Loved this place. Staff is very nice and constantly checking on you. Food was authentic and delicious. Their vanilla cappuccino was to die for.
First time here and honestly food was not enjoyable pankcakes have a weird taste to them my sons eggs had eggshells in them took an hour to get food with the place almost empty and their was atleast 3 different tables complaining about service. Asked for extra whip cream they brought it when i had already finished eating my waffle. Oh yeah for the quality of the food i feel like it is over priced. It was 6 of us and we all left atleast 50% of our food on the plates do to not enjoying it. Just a heads up. Because if i wouldve saw a review like this i would have think over driving 30 min here to be disappointed. Just leaving an honest review..
I give this place 5 stars for having the best gluten free pancakes I have ever eaten. It's difficult to find really yummy gluten free pancakes and this place has perfected the recipe.
You know it was really good! I sat down and was almost overwhelmed by the options in front of me. So many delicious things I could try! There's something for everyone here.To be honest, I was intimidated by the pricing a bit. It was kinda pricey in my opinion. But then I saw the care and attention to detail they provided during our meal and I understood. It's quality & quantity. They do what they do very well and they give you a lot of it. I still thing they are slightly overcharging for certain things (like added fruit to your pancakes or chocolate chips).I definitely would bring people here from out of town because it's a classic breakfast stop, with options for everyone to enjoy!
I love this place. I've never been disappointed here. It's always busy, so it must be good. I only wish it was open later so I could go for dinner.
Ordered an apple pancake which was HUGE, definitely not expected but it was really good. We also got fresh strawberry pancakes (with actually fresh strawberries) and buttermilk pancakes with chocolate chips which we enjoyed as well. The apple juice and OJ were also very food and freshly made. Good portions for a good price. Recommended
