6.9.22 @6pm - Stopped by with family and ordered a fruity drink, lobster tacos, and a kids' meal (cheese quesadilla). Way too expensive. I don't mind paying high cost for high quality food, but the children's meal was super plain and expensive. The lobster tacos were small. Prices were $6 for smoothie, $10.50 for kids' quesadilla meal, $22 for lobster tacos. Customer service was decent. I would not eat here again.
The food had amazing flavor and plentiful! Our server was very helpful when asked questions about choosing a dish and made sure our drinks was never empty. For dessert, we shared the fried ice cream. Sorry, when it was delivered to our table we ate it quickly and didn't take a picture! The fried icream came plated on a small dish with the fried ice cream nestled in a crisp tortilla bowl topped with whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. We will definitely go back to this restaurant!
Really great service, super friendly staff. Good food and good drinks.
Good margaritas, chips and salsa. Their Chili Colorado and Suiza sauce is delicious!
When you walk in you're at an awe moment, because the place is beautiful inside. ? The food is absolutely delicious. I got the privilege to talk to David one of the owners, very nice man. Trying to convince him to open up one in Menifee. ? It's hard to find good pork tamales. THE MEXICO CAFE has the best. The staff is absolutely friendly, are server Maria Laura was extremely attentive and polite. I recommend take your family there and enjoy a beautiful atmosphere and great food.
Great food and wonderful service ??
The experience begins when you walk in. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Easter and I imagine that it's this beautiful year-round. The service (at the bar) was exceptional. Our server was both attentive and informative. He highly recommended the Sunday Brunch so I'm sure I'll be back for that. The food was delicious. My meal began with a small bowl of Albondiga Soup. It was served piping hot and the taste was indescribable. I couldn't stop raving about how good it was as I savored each spoonful. For my main course I had Carne Asada and Shrimp. This dish was excellent as well. The meat and succulent shrimp were delicious. The rice and beans just sealed the deal for me. On another note, the entire restaurant was clean and well maintained. If you are dining with a large party The Mexico Cafe would be ideal. There are several large seating areas that could accommodate you. If you have an opportunity to stop in for dinner or a delicious Skinny Cadillac Margarita like I had, you'll be glad you did!
This is a delicious restaurant but try to make reservations in advance because there is a little bit of a wait, however there's a tiny little bar to the right serving up great drinks while you wait for your table.Try to order all together because this place is busy they turn tables quickly so no room for divas, make to sure to try the homemade tortillas they are the best. Our server was young and forgetful but sweet.
Highly recommend Sunday Brunch! $25.99 or $35.99 with bottomless mimosas. Many authentic Mexican dishes to choose from. Menudo, fideo, chilaquiles, chile rellenos, chile verde and many more. Also, an omlette bar, waffle bar, crepe bar, fresh fruit, TJ tacos and pastries. No reservations, first come first served. Parking is a challenge. Outdoor seating as well. ??
Was looking for a good bite to eat. Stopped in and got excellent service from Ellie!! We ordered tacos and they were delicious. Can't wait to return and try more items from the menu!!
